I came too early and Scott, the owner, let me leave my luggage while I stroll around Aberdeen. he even gave me suggestions on where to visit and the distance from his place. 

The location was great, not too far from Union square. My room was quite small but clean.  The bathroom was also clean, had good shower pressure, and had great warm water. The stairs to my room were steep though. 

Scott was very nice as I returned late from Dunnotar Castle. I promised to return by lunchtime, but unfortunately, I did not see the bus stop for a bus heading to Aberdeen and waited on the wrong side. i missed the bus and called then that   I will be late. Scott was cool with that. If I ever visit Aberdeen, I definitely would book this place.

friendly owner and great location

I have stayed a few times at the Royal Crown when up in Aberdeen. It's in a great location, just off the city centre, a five minute walk. The rooms are clean, quiet and warm.Breakfast is very good, with a great choice. Scott is always helpful and friendly, and can recommend restaurants and attractions to visit.

Great hotel

I found this guest house which was excellent! The staff were very friendly - even did a washing (at a small additional charge) The room was comfortably furnished and clean. Breakfast was most enjoyable too! Would stay again!

Good value central accommodation

The guesthouse is situated in a very central area but still quiet. The hosts are very friendly and hospitable. The room is spacious with basic amenities. Breakfast has both hot and cold food and freshly-made. 

Definitely exceeded my expectation.

Great location and service, worth the money

Stayed 2 weeks in March 2019 for work, what can I say - really lovely, central location; best breakfast in Aberdeen; welcoming, knowledgeable, helpful owners; thank you so much for making me feel welcome. Hope to visit again soon.

Excellent place

stayed here for 2 nights, hosts really friendly and rooms absolutely spotless, breakfast fantastic value for money lots of choice, would definately stay here again as close to train, shops etc, nice atmosphere..one minor thing would be the dining room was a bit cold when eating breakfast and the bedroom could have been warmer...shower was very clean and worked very well.

good value for money

Although the facilities are at a fairly basic level we were immediately impressed by the friendliness and helpfulness of the proprieter and the cleanliness of the whole premises. We felt welcome and well looked after.  This is an interesting old house located near the city centre with all the main shops, restaurants and the railway station within a comfortable waling distance. Despite its location, the road was fairly quiet. The rooms and public areas are tastefully decorated.

Brilliant service in a basic guest house

I was made ever so welcome and had an enjoyable time. The location is good just a few minutes from town and not too far from the beach. Train station and bus station is around the corner. Such a top man in charge. Blessings.
