A long established guest house in Aberdeen City Centre, a 300 metres walk from Aberdeen Train Station and Bus Station.

I booked a single room with en suite facilities.

Room and en-suite clean. Bed comfortable. Linen plentiful and clean. Shower adequate. Toiletries provided. Bath robe. Face cloths.
Tea & Coffee making facilities.
TV & Free WiFi.

Some very nice touches only usually found in more expensive accommodation.

Breakfast excellent. A range of options including cooked and continental. Quality Perthshire marmalades, jams and preserves. Fresh fruit. Quality cereals. Tea & Coffee.

Lady proprietor, Ann, very pleasant and welcoming but the lady who served breakfast lacked both of those qualities.

Excellent value for money, overall worthy of five stars and is highly recommended. I would return to Arden Guest House.


Bargain in Aberdeen

We were delighted with our experience at Arden Guest House.  It is an older building, but very well kept up.  Rooms are small but efficiently arranged.  Breakfast was excellent, with a real variety of food choices and a lot of fresh fruit.  The location was terrific --- within walking distance of the train and bus stations and the harbour, and also very close to Union Street and the Maritime Museum.  The rates were very reasonable, and we feel that we got a great value for our money.

a gem of a b and b

Booked  this B&B very late because I missed my train connection, Anne, the proprietor allowed me in at 10.25pm which I appreciated. My room was small, clean and basic and had everything I needed including nice handy extras like a dressing gown and a hair dryer. Breakfast was truly exceptional with fresh fruit and yoghurt, as well as a sizeable cooked breakfast with an impressive range of marmalades to compliment my tea and toast.Anne and the lady who cooked the breakfast were on the ball, friendly and professional. Very well located,close the railway station and also the busy Union Street. My stay cost just under £32 which I felt represented excellent value.It;s worth mentioning that most of the bad reviews for this B&B were written years ago so don;t be put off by them.

Great value for money

We stayed for one night at this lovely guest house, the owner was very polite and friendly. The room was clean and suited us for our trip.The breakfast was lovely and the lady serving us was again friendly and polite. The en-suite is cramped but had complementary toiletries and bathrobes(nice touch) we would use this guest house again.

Great Location

We enjoyed our stay at the Arden Guest House this December! The room was clean and very comfortable, and best of all it didn't feel like yet another hotel. Our hostess was quite gracious and concerned about our comfort during our stay. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. Arden House has a great location and a very reasonable price for the rooms, and we would definitely stay there again.

A nice change

Room was small but had everything one would want in it. I checked in early left my stuff and came back and forward as I pleased. After checking out I still left my bags for collection later. Found it very quiet,comfortable and homely. Great full breakfast. Great not having to pay over the odds. Very accessible to union street and union square. Will be back

Short Aberdeen stay

A very warm welcome, felt like home, like a family member. Breakfast absolutely gorgeous ( ask for the homemade marmalade ).
Quiet, very convenient rooms, we slept heavenly good. ( which we cant confirm to many other B&B accomodations we had during our 3 weeks tour across Scotland )
Strategically an advantage : form the Arden Guesthouse 7 minute walk to the Italian Restaurant 'Amarone' ( attention, they like e-Music and tha very loud. Dinner was delicious. Also, not far away we realised MC Donalds.
