Booked a cheeky post Christmas break here after accidentally spotting the cottage while searching for something else.
Great lay-out, great facilities, very clean and comfortable. Felt cosy and warm from the second we arrived.
Sadly the village pub was closed for our entire stay but there are others within a short drive and Abergele isn't far away with Llandudno only 30mins away. The village shop is just around the corner.
There's lots of do, even in winter, and if you can't face people, there's plenty of lovely walks.
Throughly recommend this for a nice break for two.

Peaceful break

We stayed for new year in the coach house, we would reccomend this lovely cottage as it is clean and cosy, our dogs loved the large enclosed garden, which gave us peace of mind knowing they could not get out.
There are lots of lovely places close by to visit.

Perfect

Quaint detached cottage with the comfiest bed I’ve ever slept in!  Very clean with everything you need for a home away from home. Dog friendly with an enclosed garden. one Thing to note however: in the photos the garden is large and appears private, the owners have sectioned off a portion of the garden for the stables cottage next door, fair enough both dog friendly accommodation... however our dogs reactive and the fence is a small wire fence ( dogs can’t get through ) so next doors dogs visible, we had booked thinking it was private knowing ours is reactive. Once we realised next doors dog had access there we just kept ours on a long line when out so spoilt it a little for him. It’s not a criticism per say it’s just a heads up for owners like us who search for accommodations to suit their dog and for the comfort of others owners we try to avoid gardens like this so they don’t have a big gobby German shepherd mouthing off at their dogs, I wouldn’t like it. There are laurel bushes planted but they are still small,  but in a few years there will be a visual barrier. Maybe owners can update photos on the booking sites so it reflects the changes? All in all a wonderful stay, owners nice and friendly and in a few years when the laurels are up would deffo return.

Stayed at the old coach house

Just returned from a lovely weekend in the Old Vicarage Cottage. Owners are so friendly, rooms are great with a big bathroom and they are really clean. Breakfast is amazing. It is in a really quiet place so it's brilliant for a relaxing break.

Lovely weekend

We stayed for a week in The Coach House at the Old Vicarage Cottage. We chose it specifically for the large garden as we have a boisterous Springer Spaniel. The garden was great, totally secure, and our dog loved it. We loved the Coach House, it was clean and well furnished and the bed was really comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a meal in the evenings.  About a ten minute drive to the nearest supermarket in Abergele and we had days out visiting Llanberis, Betws y Coed, Llandudno, Rhos on Sea and Rhyl, all within easy driving distance. We would definitely stay again.

The Coach House was wonderful.

Stayed here in May 2019. Very welcoming hosts, extremely accommodating and friendly. Lovely, clean room with everything we required. Excellent breakfast. Pub opposite. Lovely little village. We shall return. 

Great Place

booked via telephone with Terry for a 1 night  stay-off to a funeral.
Were made very welcome by Terry & Kim, nothing was too much trouble - extra milk &  coffees in the room. Double room lovely & warm with comfy bed, fantastic fluffy towels in bathroom along with shower gel-we`d forgotten ours! Great views of the hills from both bathroom/bedroom windows. Breakfast was to a high standard with plenty of choice using quality ingredients and at a time we requested.
