This place was amazing! The room was clean and comfortable and had everything we could possibly want. The food was delicious, and the people were friendly. Their packed lunches are perfect for a hike, and the views of the landscape (and the ducks) are beautiful. We can’t wait to go back!

Amazing stay!

Really good stop for us, only one night though.  Emma and team made a great effort to ensure everything was well organised and ship shape!!. Comfortable room and dinner in the restaurant was excellent. Drinks in the outdoor pod was a fun addition.

Great one night stay

Beautiful locally sourced food cooked  to perfection  and excellent table service . Fabulous spacious well furnished rooms with individuality  and very comfortable bed. The rooms have everything you could want and great views to mountain and loch  . In stunning quiet location and THE most caring and thoughtful staff . Just  love this place !!

Outstanding small hotel .

From the moment we arrived the staff made it clear that they were going to make our stay better than we imagined it might have been. Friendly, efficient and accommodating all just oozed from each and everyone of them.  Great facilities and lovely food.  Definitely one of the most relaxing hotel experiences I have has

Luxury is an overused term in the hospitality industry - but not in this case!!

My wife and I decided to spend ten nights in The Highlands in order for her to celebrate her 80th birthday in a place she loved in her youth and for her to meet a friend she had not seen for over 50 years! 
Based on reviews we chose to stay at Mingarry Park. It was the best possible choice. Set in a beautiful location with views to Ben Resipole we had an amazingly comfortable room (Roshven) with a balcony and hot tub and really comfy beds. Both breakfast and dinner were amazing with a large choice of really delicious dishes. But what really makes this a special place is the staff. For Emma and her team nothing is too much trouble and ones every wish is catered for. On my wife’s birthday they gave her a lovely present of a key ring made up of a 1944 farthing and the room was festooned with balloons.
To Emma, Nicola and all the team a huge thank you for making our stay so special and congratulations on running such a superb establishment. We hope to be back next year!

Outstanding!!

We stayed at this beautiful hotel for 2 nights. Our bedroom was very clean and so comfortable, everything was thought of, there were drink making facilities, hair dryer and straighteners and also some games to play! 
Our first night we visited the restaurant and oh my goodness the food was unreal! They serve a really good variety of cocktails and I particularly enjoyed the espresso martini and the MainTai. 
The breakfast is also so impressive, our particular favourite choice was the Scottish pancakes they are the tastiest pancakes I’ve ever had. 
Service was impeccable from start to finish of our whole stay! 
Staff are incredibly friendly and so helpful with recommendations such as attractions and walks, and it felt like we were visiting family with how at home we felt. 
We woke up each morning to watch the birds being fed, it really has the most beautiful views from the bedrooms. 
Would absolutely 100% recommend the hotel and would absolutely visit here again in a heartbeat! 
Would also recommend booking your stay directly through the hotel and not through any websites it was a much smoother experience! 


Beautiful hotel with the most friendly staff it felt like a home from home. 

We have just had a wonderful 4 days break at Mingarry Park hosted by Emma, Nicola, the team and the rheas/ducks!

Despite the heavy rain, we had a very relaxing time with excellent food, peace and quiet in the Mingarry Room and a view of the little menagerie in the paddock/garden behind.

What a lovely surprise to look out of our window and see rheas, ducks and geese waddling around.  Annie  woke each morning and her first thought was to look out of the window to make sure the weather hadn’t affected them.  Well done to Nicola in retrieving their bridge/pallet which was washed down stream twice in the torrential rain.

For those who want to get away to some real peace and quiet in glorious remote Scottish scenery with top class food for breakfast and dinner, very highly recommended.

A bit out of the way  but a boutique surprise.

My husband loved the venison :)
Breakfast is individually ordered, which has many choices, you order & they deliver to table,    but if you have limited time, its a bit slow. 
But quality is great.
Enjoyed our stay - even though it was raining, & watching the family ducks 🦆 .

Lovely Boutique Hotel

It’s an amazing place. This is our second visit to Mingarry and it was as good as the first. It’s so relaxing and beautiful and the accommodation is gorgeous. We stayed in Roshven this time with the hot tub. Our friends were in Mingarry suite. Both were so lovely. 

The food in the restaurant is outstanding. We did dinner and breakfast both days and everyone said how excellent the food was. The venison was fabulous. 

We explored the surrounding area beaches and castle and had some lovely drives and walks. If you like relaxation, nature and a bit of peace it is truly a place of beauty. Scenery is second to none. 

We loved chilling in the hot tub with a champagne and watching the Rheas and the ducks. 

And thanks to Emma Nicola & Angus and the chef for taking such good care of us. 
Brilliant weekend. Can’t wait to return. 🤩

Everything was just perfect

Had to best stay here!! Room was beautiful, so many wee extras that made all the difference after a long drive.  Staff could not have been nicer or more accommodating, going above and beyond.  Facilities were perfect and made a relaxing break everything it needed to be!
