Corriness House is absolutely fabulous  in every way .
We stayed here for 3 nights and would  have liked to stay for more , we just loved it so much .
Beautifully decorated house ,  we had a fabulous  bedroom at the front with such a peaceful view . . Large bathroom elegantly decorated too, super comfy bed [ and pillows  !] , 2 comfy chairs  from which to gaze at the view . ....all you could  wish for for a happy and relaxing  stay !
On top of  all that Ross was a superb host .....and we had the most delicious breakfasts  every morning .
Thank you so much Ross and Louise for our amazing  stay - it was like being in heaven ! 
We will be back ! 
Inverewe gardens are stunning , and only a 10 minute walk from  Corriness House . We spent hours there exploring properely and visiting the house . We then went back the next day for the boat trip . There are many beautiful walks in the area , and we enjoyed driving to Cove - such interesting history and a beautiful drive . 
We ate at the Poolewe hotel for 2 nights [ wonderful fish and chips !] and one night in Gairloch but we wished we had just walked to the hotel all three nights ! Worth booking in advance .
Recommend staying for more than one night in this  beautiful house in such a beautiful location .

Absolutely fabulous

Absolutely beautiful guest house in a stunning location. Probably the calmest stay I've ever had. Lovely owners who gave great local recommendations, and excellent breakfast. Left happy, relaxed and well fed. thank you for a wonderful stay, we will be back!

Beautiful rooms, beautiful place

We had a perfect nights stay at this beautifully restored old Scottish house. Set back from the road with a good sized parking area, were met by Ross who made us feel very welcome. The room was very clean and comfortable, decorated very traditionally and was quiet. It's a short walk into the very small village and the beach. After a comfortable nights sleep, we enjoyed a delicious Scottish breakfast with several choices including some home baked muffins! A great stay!!

Beautiful location

Had a lovely stay at Corriness House on a cycling trip (North Coast 500). Ross is the most amazing host with a big heart for stranded cyclists, drove me 10 km to the next bike shop and back to get a broken chain fixed! We enjoyed the modern, comfortable rooms and delicious Scottish breakfast. Can only recommend!

Exceptional BnB and host for stay on NC500

We spent 2 nights at Corriness House. Our 2 rooms were spacious enough, the bathroom was well equipped. Everything was very clean. Parking is available in front of the lovely house. WiFi worked perfectly. The location is very quiet. Breakfast is very good, there is some fresh home baking available every day. Ross, the host, is very nice and friendly and gives useful information about the area.

Nice short stay

Very comfortable and efficiently run accommodation in Poolewe. Smart and fashionably decorated room which was  immaculately clean. Large dining room with individual tables for breakfast which was top quality featuring everything one would expect and even homemade baking. Bicycle storage available.  Location is very convenient for Inverewe Gardens. Just one evening meal option in the village so worth booking if you want a walkable option.

Smart bed and breakfast in Poolewe

We were really impressed with Corriness House, and the care that Ross & Louise gave to the house.   Wonderfully decorated and laid out.  The room was a good size with large bathroom.  The care they gave to the house was carried over to the attention given to us from the communications, the check-in and the served breakfast.   The House is about a five minute drive to Inverwere Gardens so great if that is one's reason to visit Westeross.  Beyond Ross and Louise's control was the absence of any local restaurants for dinner which meant a 10-20 minute drive into Gairloch area but the again, we knew that in advance.  Would highly recommend.

Beautiful house

The guest house is a jewel, an old house, perfectly refurbished maintaining its original characteristics. Every detail is deeply cared, the rooms are elegant, the bathroom comfortable.
Ross is a perfect host, he welcomes warmly, helping to find where to have dinner (some days in advance of the arrival). Very good and complete breakfast.

An original and fascinating Scottish house 

A warm welcome by Ross. Easy to find on main Street. They also have a bothy and cottage. We had a gorgeous room at the front. It had a huge bed and an amazing bathroom. A 5 minutes walk away is Poolewe hotel for dinner but book. Breakfast was a nice continental selection and also a full Scottish which hubby enjoyed. 

Great location 

This lovely old house offers a warm welcome to travellers who venture to this rather out-of-the-way corner of Scotland. It is airy, bright and tastefully decorated, with a comfortable bed, a couple of armchairs and a well-appointed bathroom.  The owner, Ross, is friendly, enthusiastic and happy to provide information on the area and he provides a well-cooked breakfast as well!  
This part of the world is tranquil and offers plenty of opportunities for exploring the area. I would be happy to return to Corriness House and would recommend it to any visitors as a place worth seeking out.
