Just finishing up a lovely relaxing weekend with my partner, Sue and the lads on the farm make this place they are very welcoming and helpful, rooms are lovely and absolutely spotless!! 

The breakfast is cooked to perfection. 

If you are after a peaceful quiet break then park farm is the place for you. 

10/10 could not fault one thing. 

Excellent 

Stayed overnight. Park Farm B and B is very comfortable and welcoming , friendly with an excellent breakfast. Lots of good information about local sights etc and close to Derbyshire Peak District. Also close to A38 and M1.

Excellent overnight stay

We had a lovely large room that was spotlessly clean.  The view was of the cows and ducks in the barnyard.   The woman who ran the B & B was very friendly.  This place is not close town so we were glad we had had dinner before we arrived.  That gave us time to hike to Wingfield Manor, a ruin of a place, where Mary, Queen of Scots had been imprisoned.  It was so peaceful to walk on a summer's evening across the fields and down the country roads.  Great location.

Delightful stay in the country

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and Park Barn.  Have worked in the hotel business for years and can truly say there is nothing that Sue can do to make any improvement - NONE needed.  Great Breakfast, comfy beds water pressure in shoer great and loved meeting up with the cats and dogs - which are not intrusive.

Visit for a wedding

So pleased we found Park Farm and could not recommend highly enough.  This was accommodation for a days business trip but had planned to stay for two nights in order to see family in the area and some sightseeing but due to family circumstances it was only one night unfortunately.  We will return for a longer stay. Very clean and comfortable room; great breakfast 

Overnight stay

We booked this B&B after reading some previous reviews and we were not disappointed.  We arrived late afternoon to be greeted by Sue who made us a cup of tea.  We stayed in room 1 which had lovely views of the countryside, we asked for recommendations where to eat in the evening and there was a lot of choices we decided on Indian which was nice.  The room had everything you needed plenty of drinks and water and biscuits.  The room was spacious and immaculate with a lovely big bed.  We had the cooked breakfast which was delicious and plentiful.  Overall it was a lovely place gorgeous setting and excellent hosts would highly recommend and would definitely stay again if we visit Derbyshire.

Lovely stay

We needed a place to stay near to the Derwent Valley, and Park Farm was perfect -- spacious rooms (with towel warmers), great breakfasts, and in the setting of a working farm. You do need a car .. this is in the countryside down a typical British rural hedge-row lined road. If that is what you want ... you cannot do better than this!

Great location on the outskirts of the Peak District in a working farm setting

My wife and I have just returned from a two day stay at this superb B&B. Situated on a working farm, it has three very well appointed bedrooms with loads of nice touches. Sewing kits, hot water bottle, very good WiFi and a lovely breakfast prepared and served by Sue, the owner. Apart from hearing the cows mooing in the morning, the place was the epitome of calm. The local roads can be described as interesting but its closeness to the Crich Tramway Museum make it an ideal place to stay. Lots of good places to eat locally too. Certainly one of the best B&Bs we have stayed in.
