Well what can I say apart from Amazing night away 
We stayed in room 200 on arrival check in was very easy reception staff friendly we got to our room and found it spotlessly clean a lovely deep bath and THE most comfy bed , we headed for the bar to have our Cream tea afternoon which was amazing , we booked the restaurant and so glad we did my wife had the home made Lamb and mint pie myself had the Venison what can I say food was spot on , breakfast was also great if you are looking for a fantastic night away choose the inn at Grasmere you won’t be disappointed

Date night away

Loved our stay. Everywhere welcoming and clean. Gorgeous decor which gave a cosy homely feel. The staff couldn’t have done enough for us and loved how dog friendly the hotel was. The first deluxe double room we were given was too small for £182. I was told the deluxe doubles differ in size. We were moved without question to a much more spacious room. Location is just perfect. Will definitely return didn’t want to leave!

Wonderful stay in a beautiful hotel.
The staff were fabulous, they made our stay extra special. Lovely comfortable beds and the rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated. 
Jennifer ensuring we had lovely rooms and we knew all the details regarding meals and breakfast.

Fabulous hotel,  right in the heart of town.
The staff are amazing, nothing is too much trouble, they go above & beyond to ensure you have a great stay.
The rooms are very comfortable & the food is great.

You really need to try this hotel ......its fab!!

We would just like to say thank you to all the staff that worked very hard to make our new years eve package one to remember...from arriving at the hotel to leaving it was a fantastic customer experience...amazing food...Great entertainment...we were so impressed we are going to rebook for this year ...thank you so much..the Nixon family

New years eve package

We have just returned from a 2 night stay (B&B). It is our second visit to Grasmere, and after careful selection of what we wanted from a hotel we chose this one. 

Good points:
Great central location just a stones throw from everything you could need
Lovely bar and tasty food - not too badly priced either for the Lake District
Dog friendly
Spacious lounge area reserved for hotel guests which meant there was always somewhere to relax
Swimming pool & Sauna to relax after walking
Excellent breakfast - great choice and the buffet continental selection was brilliant, as well as a hot choice from a menu
Fantastic scenic walks from the doorstep
Plenty of car parking spaces
Modern bathroom with both shower & a bath
Boot tray in the room for the dirty walking boots - thought that was a great idea

Not so good points:
Some of the staff. Some of the reception staff and bar staff almost seemed like they just couldn't really be bothered with us. We had to ask if our room was ready 3/4 times and could tell the staff were annoyed with us for this even though 3pm had lapsed.
The room - even though we paid for a deluxe room, the finish on the rooms was a little shabby, lots of tea/coffee marks on the skirting boards and wardrobe (weirdly neither near where the kettle was) The toilet seat was painted, and chipped, I'd recommend changing these for porcelain or plastic to look a bit tidier. Also the mirror in the bathroom was surrounded by a painted white metal frame around it, also extremely chipped and just looked really untidy.
It was quite noisy during the night - but our room was placed right at the top of the staircase.

Overall, a really lovely hotel just small changes to make it even more perfect.

Great hotel

Could not fault this place. Absolutely loved everything about our stay here. We were well looked after and the food was fantastic. It’s a great spot for exploring Rydal Caves, Easedale Tarn and Alcock Tarn. Of course there’s also the Wordsworth grave and museum. Very friendly staff. Dogs truly welcome.

Fantastic

Absolutely fantastic time away for a few nights. Food was brilliant and the drinks complimented it too! Plenty of parking around so you won’t be stuck for a space really. Have to say a massive thank you to Dominic who has been more than helpful throughout the whole duration of us being here. From giving us the best tables in the restaurant, to sorting us out with the best drinks to pair the meals we had. He was very hospitable and incredibly friendly, knowledgable on different spirits for those wanting a stronger drink too! Cannot thank him enough for making our experience here that much more better!

Fantastic visit!

We had a most relaxing stay at this hotel,arrived at 11:00 am and we were checked in straight away and in our spotless y clean room by 11:20 ,however the handbaison had some damage to it when we told reception we were given a upgraded room witch was also spotless . We ate in the in-house restaurant on the 1st nite witch was very good, on the 2nd day we went in the pool / sauna after spending the day walking around ( you can get a hop on hop off bus ticket for £9:50 ) parking is fine I had no problems.

Outstanding

We booked a dinner bread and breakfast package for Two nights. The room was clean and comfortable. We got a cream tea included each day. The food in the restaurant exceeded expectations and was presented beautifully and very tasty. The lounge area was nice and relaxing with board games accessible to guests which filled our evening nicely. Only downside was noise from the corridors. We had a lovely stay. The pool and sauna was nice to
Enjoy also.
