We cannot praise this guest house enough. The attention to detail shown by Julia and Stuart are second to none! Delicious tea and cake on arrival, fresh flowers in the room. Balcony with exceptional views. Tea and coffee topped up regularly. Advise on getting the most out of the areas natural beauty. Best places to park. Even starters for breakfast! Amazing!

Fabulous weekend away

This guest house is such a little gem, so quiet , peaceful and picturesque right near the beach.  The hosts Julia & Stuart are lovely and welcoming - especially with a spot of homemade cake and coffee on check in that was a nice touch.  Our room was spotless, a sea view and one of the comfiest bed we have slept in.  The only issue we had personally was the water pressure in the shower which we would have preferred higher however overall we had a great stay and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a quite brake with a loved one.

My wife and I stayed here for a Copple of nights for our anniversary while we did some activates in the local area

Looking for a weekend break for my partner's Birthday and we booked this guest house - what a fantastic place!
On arrival tea, sponge cake and some Welsh cakes by a nice warming fire after a long journey was very welcoming. The hosts Julia and Stewart are lovely and very accomodating. The cooked breakfast is delicious, served with rounds of tea and toast. The bedroom is lovely and the views are gorgeous.
Highly recommend Melliha Guest house to anyone who likes a chilled relaxing stay sourounded by the beautiful Pembrokeshire countryside.

What a little gem!

I'm trying to find downsides to staying at the guest house. Best I can find is the turn into the drive from the road is a left hand hairpin that should be approached with caution. Our bathroom was poky but very serviceable with a lovely and effective shower. Stuart and Julia (meticulous in everything) are tremendous hosts that try very hard to give you the best stay they can. Rooms are spotless, beautifully furnished and excellent breakfasts (ordered the night before) cooked to perfection. The Guest house is on a sloping site down to the river giving a splendid view down the valley from our terrace.  Bed was very comfortable and we slept well. Well worth its 5 star rating!

Almost perfect

Stuart and Julia gave us a friendly welcome that continued throughout our stay. Genuinely lovely people! They were fabulous hosts- Julia was a mine of information about places to eat and things to do in the area and Stuart's breakfast menu was incredible! Mellieha itself is a gorgeous guesthouse, newly decorated, clean and bright. Our room had a private veranda, looking out over Mellieha's beautifully kept gardens and with a view of the sea. The communal areas were also lovely, providing extra space, including patio seating outside. 
It was a fantastic base for us as it is only a two minute walk down the hill to the beach. The coastal path is also right on the doorstep and you can walk to neighbouring Saundersfoot and beyond.
Honestly, we couldn't have asked for better hosts, accommodation or location- we would recommend Mellieha and Amroth to everyone.

Superb guesthouse with welcoming owners!

Stunning location, gorgeous room and breakfast along with lovely hosts. Our 2 night stay was perfect although not long enough! Immaculately clean and comfortable. Can highly recommend the Mellieha Guest House and will definitely return. Thank you Julia and  Stuart!

Fabulous Guesthouse

Spent 2 nights at Mellieha and will definitely return. Hosts Julia & Stuart have fantastic attention to detail and run a well organised guesthouse. Our room was spacious, tastefully decorated, scrupulously clean and catered for all our needs.
Welcome tea & homemade cakes on arrival gave us the opportunity to quiz Julia on local amenities and it was lovely to be close enough to walk to a nice local pub (Amroth Arms) for dinner. Where to start on the subject of Stuart's breakfasts?? Fantastic! Beautifully cooked local produce, homemade marmalade and Stuart's lovely yogurt 'cocktails' are not to be missed. So nice to be served properly and not queuing for a buffet! Set in a spacious well manicured garden, plenty of parking. A memorable stay for all the right reasons - thankyou Julia & Stuart!

Perfect accommodation and hosts.

Just spent a fantastic, relaxing  4 days at Mellieha guest house.  Julia and Stuart are wonderful hosts and everything was absolutely perfect. Room was beautifully decorated -  comfortable with everything you would need.  We had the added benefit of a little balcony overlooking the beautiful garden - a little wildlife haven, and we were lucky enough to see some badgers on our first night !!! Loved watching the rabbits and squirrels playing on the grass every morning, and because the weather was glorious - we were able to breakfast outside, watching the birds and squirrels active on the feeders every morning. Julias breakfasts are out of this world - and kept us full up until our evening meal. Cannot recommend this wonderful little guest house enough. If i had to give marks out of 10 - i'd give 11. Can't wait to return later in the year. By far - the best guesthouse we've ever stayed in.

Excellent B&B, Wonderful hosts in an idyllic setting - can't wait to return !!!!

We have just returned from a relaxing 5 night stay at this gorgeous little guest house & everything about it was absolutely perfect - from the hosts, Julia & Stuart, who couldn’t have been more friendly & helpful, to the complimentary afternoon tea on arrival with homemade coffee cake & Welsh cakes, the spotlessly clean en-suite room & spacious private deck with views of the sea & the beautiful garden & delicious breakfasts (I recommend the homemade yogurt & the smoked salmon with scrambled eggs!). It was such a treat to watch the birds & squirrels in the garden while we were eating our breakfast too!! Myself & my husband Andrew loved it here & you will too!!
