Awful place ran by clueless manager and executive board who are happy to break the law.

This place let us look about and use the facilities as we wanted to have our tourer van moved next season. We chose the pitch then went to complete the papaerwork.

That’s when things turned. We have a European caravan which the docs said want allowed, vans and astroturf also stated as not allowed.

I was told they would check, then 10 mins later was told due to fire regulations they can’t accept European vans. I spoke to someone from head office on the phone who then agreed to check again as I was right and fire regulations don’t prevent it as the pitch chosen was fine with the van at either side.. he than asked the receptionist ‘what I was like’ which she was embarrassed about as clearly irrelevant (wanted to know if I was a traveler I expect - I’m not, I’m a CEO of a good size business).
I then spoke to the manager of the park - he told me the same about fire regulations and then changed his tune when I pointed out he was wrong and that 50% of the vans on his site went against what he had said (hitch needing to face forward), I also pointed out there were 4-5 commercial vans and about half with astroturf which does against contract- he told me that they take a view once they know people I.e. different rules for different people, discrimination and illegal.

Head office (MD & two directors) initially ignored me. Then emailed the wrong address and ignored my questions.  They have since ignored.  They won’t provide copies of policies.

Speaking to people on sites they said fees have doubled, service reduced and facilities not available as poisoned so probably a lucky escape and explains why about 20 seasonals have all left this year. 

Avoid this place and this company… they don’t care and won’t deal with / respond to issues (probably explain the high turnover of senior managers)

Avoid - awful management, no clue on customer service

We recently stayed at Wild Rose caravan park with a group of friends. A fantastic holiday, beautiful caravan and brilliant brand new facilities at your fingertips. 
Loved the new swimming pool and the bar offered great food and fab live music which was great entertainment. We spent most nights here! Lots to do for the kiddies. Staff and service was 10/10. Park was beautiful and well maintained. We will be definitely be back and highly recommend for a lovely holiday! 

A fantastic caravan park! 

What a gem of a place , stayed here the beginning of October, yes was a quiet time ,but that is what we wanted to celebrate our Anniversary,  .. The whole site was so clean and welcoming , we did eat in the restaurant which was good value and good food , would not hesitate to call back , thank you George and your lovely team 

Escape

We visited with friend’s over the October half term and stayed in the Hives. We all enjoyed our stay, the hives were suitably equipped for our stay.  Improvement would be beneficial for the outdoor lighting in this area. They were great value for money. 
The new bar/restaurant and reception area was lovely. This is a dog friendly area and there were a-lot of dogs around, this did not really impact on our experience however may be something with bearing in mind and not the place for you if you don’t like dogs or have allergies. 
One of our group was in a wheelchair due to a current leg injury, a wheelchair suitable for poolside would be useful to be available as he did not want to take his mobility scooter poolside after it be used outdoors.  However, I appreciate that this is newly open and so simply making a recommendation regarding this as he ended up shuffling along the floor from the pool to the changing room’s.
Staff were very friendly and helpful on reception and assisted us with ideas for wheelchair accessible walks and places to visit. 
Would visit again and recommend to friends.

A lovely stay in the Hives, great Value for money, pool lovely.

A great park with lots of facilities and more planned for next year. The new pool is excellent and can’t wait to go in the summer as there is a large outdoor seating area overlooking the indoor/outdoor pool. Looking to book again for May half term.

Great holiday park

Excellent site ,lots of work going on around the site with the new development on the way .Looks great on the plans ,all staff are really friendly and always have time to speak .Sam and Kieran in sales really friendly and Graeme  always has time to speak .

Great site

Just spent two weeks in a warm well equipped caravan, the bar is first class where good food is served. would definitely go back hopefully all the building work will be done. Would highly recommend this friendly site. 

Early break at Wild Rose 

The park is undergoing a big investment in new developments but you can see what it is going to look like this Summer, wow!

Sat and had food with friends, the decor in the restaurant is incredible and the food and service was great.

Will definitely be coming back here!

Park Visit 

Stayed 23rd sept for 3 nights, enjoyed all 3, staff were excellent, site was great yes improvement works ongoing this will enhance the site and only a minor inconvenience the future rewards will be worth it, the only negative I have was bar staff. On the Friday bar was quiet but numerous staff, but when we visited Saturday for entertainment quite busy, there was one barman , utter respect to the guy he didn’t stop during the 2 hours we were their, he was getting grief off customers. Recommend management look at this and get a better balance of staff. That aside, certainly worth a visit

Great site and location

Great site, staff are really helpful and bar is lovely. Vans super clean and some great walks in area. Unfortunately it wasn’t the weather to test out the outdoor pool but looks like something indoors is being built! Building work did not affect our peace and quiet though.   Would definitely revisit
