Had such a wonderful stay with Jen and Jamie at Lawriestone.  Had initially planned to hike on my second day, yet after reviewing my plan with Jen she made some recommendations - all things that were not on my radar.  Made the day spectacular - seals sunbathing on a boulder, heather soap factory  and a tour at a distillery.

Had a great stay at Lawriestone at the end of July. It’s in a great location in Fort William and Jamie and Jan are very accommodating and helpful hosts. Our room had a lovely view over the loch. The room was well appointed and the bed was so comfy! Breakfast was nice despite no “full English” with plenty of choice. Will definitely stay again.

Lawriestone was exquisite with an amazing bedside view of the loch, mountains and wildlife. Surrounded by beautiful gardens up and down the street and a short walk to high street with very little grade. The home has been refurbished with the lovely Victorian features in tact but modern luxuries in place. My wife loved the modern bathroom with huge soaking tub and walk in shower. Jan was a wonderful host. Top marks!

Simply Amazing

A lovely bed and breakfast which we booked for an overnight stay en route to our holiday destination.. Rooms are large impeccably clean and tastefully furnished. The house is traditional Victorian and it has been sympathetically restored but with a contemporary feel. It is an easy 15 minute stroll to Fortwilliam's cafes and restaurants.  The breakfast was plentiful with many options to choose from. The breakfast room has an amazing view over the loch. From the minute you walk through the door you feel at home. Jan and Jamie are friendly and welcoming. All in all a great start to the holiday.

You can not fault this b&b.., rooms are spacious, Jan is a fantastic host can’t do enough for you, and some good advice!!… breakfast continental which I love lots of choices…, amazing fruit salad… we’ll be back

I / We have stayed in guest houses all over the UK and this one is top of the list. From a very friendly chatty owner to a beautiful house.
We arrived a bit early but it was not a problem and was showed to a very big room overlooking the loch. The bed was very comfortable with luscious bedding, the bathroom was huge with a corner both, 2 sinks and a separate shower. The décor was just right with a table and 2 chairs in front of the large bay window to sit and look at the scenery. The whole house was spotless and well furnished. Continental breakfast was very nice and each morning the Jan would ask us our plans and give us a few tips to help us out.
Sorry I cannot think of anything negative to say.

One of the best

A lovely house which is also a family home. Only stayed one night on this occasion, but would definitely stay again. Our room had amazing views, the bed was so comfortable and everything was absolutely spotless. Jan is so friendly and really helpful. A really good continental breakfast, and most importantly for me ! Good coffee in the morning 🤗  Such a hard working family who take pride in their house and garden.  Definitely an ideal place to stay in Fort William. Thank you so much, Drew & Jean

Superb

Stayed for two nights for our wedding anniversary. Very warm welcome from Jan. Lovely room with the view of the loch. Varied and filling continental breakfast, again with views of the loch. Couldn’t fault this guesthouse, it had a warm homely feeling to it. As a surprise for us Jan left us chocolates and a note in our room, to say that she had left a bottle of fizz in the fridge for us downstairs in the breakfast room,  to help us celebrate which was such a lovely touch.

Warm welcome and spotless

Fantastic place.  Jayne the owner goes above and beyond to make your stay a very pleasant 1.   Plentiful, Gorgeous breakfasts to fuel you up for the day.  Lovely comfortable clean room. Beautiful views . Close to the town centre , approximately 10 minutes stroll. Plenty of parking to the rear
