I could have just stayed on balcony all week with such a fabulous view over Loch Long with the ever changing colours on the Arrochar Alps. It is an ideal base to see so many wonderful places . In one direction on the doorstep of Rest and be Thankful then up to Inverary. Worth visit to castle and local shops.In opposite direction to Loch Lomond and Helensburgh.
We ate most nights in the Ben Arthur lounge and cannot praise the lovely staff highly enough. Food is fab...great curry and loved steak pie and chips.Deligthful breakfast in the B and B....not many places where you get a freshly cooked full Scottish! Fresh fruit was lovely too.Wandered around gardens with nice sheltered seating and lovely roses and hydrangea. Flat is so spacious and great bedroom view.Having en suite and own cooking facilities adds to comfortable stay.

Amazing views from lovely big flat

Booked up to do something a bit different for my mums 50th Birthday, couldn't have picked a better place. Set in stunning scenery and the view is amazing (at a great price). The flat was a lot bigger than I expected, very spacious, 5 bedrooms, very clean and modern. It was a lovely wee village with very friendly locals and the chip shop just a couple of minutes walk away was very nice as well. Mum fancied going downstairs to the bar for a couple since it was her Birthday and everybody was really friendly, especially a girl with the nickname Budgie (wonder why?), she was lovely, a great laugh, great company for my mum and it turned out she's the girl who cleans the flat we stayed at - great job, it's immaculate! Thanks again, we will be back as a family!

Beautiful and unbelievable value for money!

Tbh its a fantastic flat with great views,the tvs in rooms dont work.

The main point is the noise from the pub below which is in a way to be expected but not the level it went to and beyond 1am, there was loud music a roudy ground with what sounded like a drinking game going on.
If you are looking to stay over the weekend dont expect too sleep as obviously bar profits come first, i think the party would have kept going till beyond 2am if i hadn't had a word with 2 gentleman smoking out the front who kindly informed staff of the time( they thought it was only 11pm). It was at that time 1.30 am.

Lovely flat with no sleep

We stayed here for one night for my Mum’s 70th Birthday. The views are out of this world, the flat is brilliant, in need of some TLC in some areas but a fantastic concept with 4 bedrooms en-suite so no bathroom q’s, the staff are wonderful they can’t do enough for you and the pub food was fabulous. We had done a lot of travelling the day before we arrived at the accomodation so we weren’t really in a crazy party mood the night we stayed. I really wish we had been. The 3 rooms on the road get the brunt of the pub noise. It was a Saturday night so I’m assuming week nights would be much quieter. It was awful, the noise was horrendous and nowhere on the website does it mention how bad the noise from the pub is. The first bedroom as you come into the flat gets the noise of everyone out having a ciggy and opening and closing the door, the middle room felt like it was right above an Ibiza DJ and the gorgeous room with the Super Kingsize Bed gets the tail end of it. It is great the pub is doing so well but I think people need to be warned about the noise from downstairs on weekend nights. The road noise is tolerable and to be honest you don’t hear it over the pub. I think a bit of sound proofing and better double glazing would be ideal. It is a fab apartment, lovely staff and fab pub food it was just the noise that brought the rating down.

Fabulous view.
Broken and dirty dishwasher, mouldy ice maker, drain in shower clogged. Shower head coming through plaster, water stains on ceiling, broken slats under single bed and general outside littered with rubbish. Not obviously what it once was. As as for the free wifi. No wifi. Awful traffic noise as right on road

Needs attention

Well what can we say.  Lovely location so picturesque unfortunately that is where it ends.  Place is not luxury at all, TVs don’t work really and as people have said the smell is bad.

However the noise from the pub below is awful.  We stayed one night on a Saturday and it didn’t stop till 1am and the noise continued till at least 2am.  No chance of sleeping at all.  That’s not an exaggeration.  Huge industrial fan below main bedroom and people who slept next to it had to move to living room.

Staff very unfriendly in the bar when we went to get keys.  Actually said to us “ you’re not wanting to eat here tonight are you?”

Honestly if you want to not sleep maybe it’s place for you.

The TVs in the four bedrooms didn't work.

The property had a foul odour throughout. 

The bathroom was leaking and there was a bucket on the floor, however nil advance warning or explanation from staff or management. 

Uncomfortable and extremely thin mattresses on all beds. 

Mouldy water had stained the ceilings in several rooms. 

General unclear decor. 

Upon check in and departure, staff were rude and unfriendly. 

Apartment was not supplied with information or an instructions manual to the apartment. 

I would not recommend this accommodation. I must have misunderstood the word 'luxury'.
