We book 2 lodges which were amazing. 
I read the reviews on here and yes the place is a little tired but this has no effect on the place I or on your holiday.
The lodges inside were lovely and have everything you need. The kitchen is well equipped with dishwasher and bedrooms have lots of storage. Showers were lovely with good pressure. We had 2 kids 13 and 11 and enjoyed the heated pool which was really warm. They loved the games room with the table tennis, pool table and 2 foosball tables. This place is also greatly situated to visit lots of places.
We also had our elderly parents who were in their 80’s and the place worked really well for them as no stairs and had their own space. 
We also walked through the woods behind the lodges to the kings head pub which has amazing food and service. Mark the manger was lovely and was really helpful. There is a cap on electricity but it is more than enough and actually makes you think about how much you use which I think is a great thing to do.
Overall this place works well for all ages and has great facilities. We will definitely be returning.

Fabulous place for the whole family.

We stayed for 2 weeks and we enjoyed the park very much. There was a warm welcome, it was quiet and relaxing, the lodge was very clean and complete. It is a good place to start all kind of trips since it is near the M20 and Ashford (with an excellent train connection to London). All in all we had a great time.

Excellent place to stay

Brilliant half term break of 3 families with kids. So much for the children to do they loved the pool and games room.  Beautiful location and setting in the woods. Lodges had everything we needed.  Mark was a great host and so helpful.  We had a lovely walk through the woods to the local pub.  Felt like we were miles away so peaceful.  Kids and adults have had a great time !!

Half term break away

Perfectly situated to explore Kent in each direction, these woodland lodges have everything you need for a nice week away. You can hear a pin drop at night and in the morning, open the window and all you can hear is the morning chorus. You can drive your car up to the lodge to unpack but then you have to park your car a few metres away which was nice to be able to only see lodges and not cars out of the window. Also it means if people head off early in the morning, you haven't got the sound of car doors banging. 
Comfortable double bed, no tele in bedroom but that was fine as there was a tele in living room. No stairs so all on one floor which was also nice. 
We played pool in the games room for an hour on an evening, took a speaker in there to listen to some music as there was no one else in there. Bit cold in though!. They Might need a heater in the months. 
We didn't use the small swimming pool in the end. I would say from the outside the pool building looks like it needs a paint job. 
All in all, we wanted for nothing, all utensils were there, sofas were comfy, PLENTY of space in the kitchen cupboards and in the bedrooms. 
The man who showed us around when we arrived was very nice and said if we needed anything just call. All we needed were towels. These weren't included but he went and got some for us to use anyway. We didn't need to call him for anything. 
Thank you and if we decide to visit Kent again, we would definitely stay again.

6 Beautiful quiet woodland lodges

Recently stayed for a month whilst re-locatimg for work. 
Great place to getaway from work and your own space, so much better than a hotel. Met someone who was on holiday but generally don't see many of the neighbours.  Pool and games room on site but I did not use them. The only noise is the birds in the morning plus my alarm clock getting me up for work!
Easy access to travel links if you want to explore Kent. Plus Ashford is close if you need to purchase any supplies. Local walks in the woods so lots to do if you wish. 
If you do not want to be surrounded by lots of people and wish to relax, this is ideal. 
For me, shame I had to go into work. 😀.

Home from Home

Perfect base to get away and explore Kent, there are 6 lodges and 2 cottages to rent lovely trails through the woods pub nearby. Literally can't hear a pin drop apart from the birds , there's a games room, launderette, and a heated pool on site will definitely be coming back 

Week hokiday

Thank you for a lovely stay. Mark was very welcoming and the lodge was the perfect setting for our peaceful getaway. This was our second visit and lived up to the fabulous memories of the first stay. Can’t wait for our next visit!

Second stay, living up to the memories of the first!

We stayed here for five days. Excellent centre for touring the area. Chartwell on the way. North Kent coast- Whitstable,  Broadstairs etc. Canterbury,  Dungeness, Rye, Great Dixter garden. Sissinghurst.  
Good recommendation of local pubs, to eat in. 
The lodge is not too attractive from the outside but stunning inside. Modern decor,  well equipped, even a dishwasher, comfortable beds. There is a games room, football grass, library, laundry and small swimming pool. No car policy by lodges ideal for children. 
Would definitely recommend a stay here.

Ideal location

Our family have just enjoyed a week here in one of the lovely timber lodges sited in picturesque woodland.  The site is beautifully quiet, only the birds can be heard singing.  The kitchen is well equipped, complete with dishwasher (tablets provided), the beds are very comfortable, there is a generous shower cubicle with easy to operate shower, sofas to sink into in the lounge area and outdoor table and chairs.  There is also a heated swimming pool, with adjacent changing area and showers, plus laundry facilities.  Who needs to go abroad when places such as this exist in England!  Just a note - bedding and tea towels are provided, but guests need to take their own towels.

A truly relaxing place

Well equipped, clean, comfortable lodges in a pleasant woodland setting. Small heated pool available along with a games room and laundry. Quiet surroundings and you can take a short woodland walk into the village. Great spot for a relaxing quiet break.
