set just north of the high street, this B&B accommodation is immaculately clean and well located for a short trip in the area. Approx. 25 min walk to the international retail park it is set on a busier road, but the room is peaceful and very clean. The bathroom is small, but for the price the stay represented excellent value for money. Would stay again.

A big group if us stayed here as we had a family party nearby.  The staff are lovely friendly and helpful and the hotel is spotless with plenty of tea and coffee in the rooms.  They have parking for around 5 cars and the rooms can be a bit quirky but the beds are comfy and the rooms are warm and quiet. One of our group had booked for two nights but could only stay for 1 and they cancelled the booking free of charge.  If you turn up early call them if they don't hear the doorbell they usually let us park and often let us into a room around 11am.

Over night stay large group

After being up so long I might strike you as grumpy, but that didn’t stop the person at Hayesbank B&B being very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, functional and quiet, however my neighbour was on the phone. That didn’t stop me from sleeping. 

The top floor shared a bathroom, but it was clean and fresh. 

At breakfast one could choose between British, Continental breakfast and a third one which was not understood by me. Since the kitchen lady’s English clearly wasn’t native (and neither is mine) I didn’t dare to ask what each option was and went for continental. This consisted of toasted bread, marmelade, some yoghurt and a plate of sliced fruit. When asked for some scrambled egg, the kitchen lady looked startled, but relectantly she prepared this for me. She kept being friendly nonetheless. 

I don’t think I would stay for one week, but for the one night it was more than adequate. 

Needed a place to stay after 24 hours of drive and work

This B&B is acceptable for a short stay but I would go somewhere else if I had to stay longer. The family room was spacious but furniture was old and cheap. The bathroom was quite small, like the shower, and essential. The corridors are quite smelly because the door to the kitchen is constantly open and the kitchen probably not well ventilated. The car park is small and I struggled to get out of it. A good thing is the short distance to the town centre. I will probably not go back. 

Just for one night

During a one day visit in London, in the evening, a place to stay was needed on the way back to the Eurotunnel. The Hayes Bank B&B popped up.
The check-in went smooth. I had my room in the little building outside, next to the house. Room 12, on the bill it was known as "Double room, budget, shared bathroom, street view + breakfast".
The room itself was functional, there was a bed, a trashcan, and a desk with a chair and multiple towels. 
The shared bathroom was Ok. 
There are two rooms in the building outside, separated by the shared bathroom. My neighbour was a bit loud in the morning. Other than that, I had a good night sleep. 
At breakfast in the morning there was a choice between English and continental. I opted for the continental. Consisting of toast (white or brown), marmalade, yogurt, a plate of fruit and coffee/tea. 
There is also cereal available on the counter. 
Limited parking is available at the B&B itself. Found a free spot around the corner in the residential areas.
The town centre is only a very short walk away. 

Now I’m torn between giving a 3- or 4-star rating. Or perhaps I was just tired. 
Anyways, for a night stay you can’t do anything wrong here.

Good for a nights stay

Very disappointing . No staff in evidence at all , communication done through text . Room was cold , no heating working , I received no response to a query about the heating . The Tv didn’t work , nor did the shower produce any hot water . I was under the impression breakfast was included until I read the reviews after I arrived , there was none available. 
The room was basic , bed was ok . I won’t be returning again ! Note to self , check reviews in future .

Disappointing

While I accept that this bed and breakfast adhere to covid regulations and government guidelines. I did message and ask about my reservation but received no reply. They asked for proof of my right to travel which again is fine however this was the day before I was due to travel which is unacceptable.it would have been impossible to ask my head for a letter on a Friday afternoon the day before I was due to travel.  It should have been done at the time if booking not hours before.

Cancellation

I wouldn’t let somebody else’s dog stay here. Avoid at all costs!!! Dreadful room with the most disgusting bathroom shared with another room. If I come down with anthrax or similar I shall blame this place. Nightmare. Stayed for approx 10 minutes then found somewhere else to stay.  More accommodating quarters were offered by Fred and Rose West or indeed the Addams family. A true shocking nightmare of a place. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

Nightmare

We stayed here for a night due to work. The parking was very difficult and dimmly lit. The hotel was cold and dated. The room was dreadful and cold. The shower was broken and very unclean. The bed was poor, mattress must have been at least 45 years old. The towels were old and never seen conditioner. This was a very uncomfortable stay. I'd personally never stay here again and we actually considered sleeping in the back of the van. Had it been summer, I think we actually would have done. 
Sadly I'd highly recommend you avoid this place. 

Avoid

My partner and I booked for one nights stay this evening. The property is advertised with available parking. This was not the case, as the car park was filled with work vans. We had to park on the permit only street and hope we would not be booked for a ticket before morning. We entered the property and there was a distinct smell of the use of illicit substances on the property. We made our way to our room and as we entered this very dated room the stale, musty smell hit us, despite the windows being open! The room was filthy, the sheets were stained, the shower room was in a terrible state of disrepair! We did not unpack, immediately left and have booked another room locally for the night! Stay at your own peril!
