The restaurant serves disgusting food! We went out to a place that apparently was good for serving good meals. However, the place should not have a restaurant open and we hope that the customers from the hotel get better dinner and breakfast to what we had. 

The food was pretty disgusting!

Full disclosure - I was attending an event at Gleneagles, which is the other end of the price spectrum. The (twin) bed at the Glendevon was easily as comfortable, the room temperature was more controllable, and there was a hot chocolate sachet at the Gendevon! Nice big shower, very clean, great bacon roll (full available if wanted) and coco pops for breakfast, very welcoming staff. The parking out back isn't the last word in glamour and as other guests have noted you get to the rooms via the bar but I didn't have any noise issues. Thank you for looking after me.

A great base

My 7 year old and I stayed mid week as we had a wedding nearby. We had a double room and breakfast. The hotel was lovely, we found the room more than adequate for our stay. The bed was lovely and comfy. The en-suite bathroom was spotless and the tea and coffee facilities were a lovely touch. We were welcomed in to the hotel and shown to our rooms. We had asked the hotel to book taxis but unfortunately no taxis were available therefore we were given a lift courtesy of one of the employees. We were so grateful as it was looking at though we were going to be late for the wedding! 

Breakfast was served between 7.30-8.30am which was really early but it was midweek. Breakfast included cereals, yoghurts, rolls and a cooked breakfast. I opted for the breakfast which was cooked quickly and really tasty. The staff are polite and helpful.

Overall a really nice stay at this hotel. Thank you for making us feel welcome

Lovely stay

Was thinking of booking for dinner but thought we would try a lunch, bombay club sandwich expensive, 10.95,cheap bread and had much better club sandwiches, wife's tarka Dahl runny and tiny portion and her naan... tiny, and expensive. Glad we didnt book for dinner, won't ever be back, and where else in the world do you pay for drinks and food separately? 

Rubbish 

The best lamb rogan josh I've ever had . Friendly staff. Lovely room . Great price and breakfast too. Brilliant . Highly recommended and would definitely return. Great place to start your. Scotland adventure  

Bang on 

This has been a regular meal stop in the past, not any more.  Service poor, portions cut and price increased.  Very ordinary food, 7 pieces of Scampi for a MAIN course no attendance to see if any food or drinks required and had to go to bar to pay yet there were few customers, only another couple when we left.

Travelling stop for meal.

Went in for meal last Sunday night very quiet at the time possibly abiut 6pm. I ordered fish and chips my wife had sunday roast.  The fush was probably the smallest i have ever had and chips were borderline cold. The sunday roast was very bland served with rock hard maybe microwaved cauliflower in tasteless cheese sauce look like the young team behind the bar/ kitchen were having fun though. Not a good meal but might just have been unlucky 

Bad night in Auchterarder

Well what can I say? For £100 a night, including a full cooked breakfast, there isn’t much to complain about. 

We stayed for 2 nights, arriving on the Friday night there was a party until very late. We weren’t told about this prior, only on arrival. We didn’t get back to the hotel ourselves until after 11, so only had to struggle few an hour+ of horrific party tunes which were so loud, the DJ could have been in our en suite. 

Otherwise, staff very pleasant, on arrival and during the stay.

Hot breakfasts were ok.  I wanted the smoked salmon option but salmon wasn’t available…despite a coop being less than 2min down the road. But the colder options like cereal, muffins and juices etc were very generous. 

Parking was easy, options at the back of the hotel and also free at the Main Street. 

Would stay again!

The right price point for the experience

Stayed at the Glendevon while attending a wedding nearby. . The room had a king size comfy bed with an ensuite., 
It had all the facilities that we required .and was reasonably priced. The bar had a good selection of beers ,wines  and the breakfast was excellent. 
The staff were very attentive and helpful.

Over night stay

Hotel was okay staff good food good the place was freezing no heating on whatsoever barstaff had fleece's on at night serving,radiator in room was off,had to get the polar bear out the room before we could get to bed🤣🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
