Lovely 3 bedreeom holiday home close to Aviemore centre Great space to stay for our trip to Hoghland Wildlife Park and Landmark Adventure Forest Park House was clean and tidy and well laid out Only wee comment is that the door knobs on the downstairs bedrooms and showerroom are a bit stiff and squeaky But overall excellent

Base for Kids Holiday in Aviemore

Lovely cottage close to local amenities. 3 bedrooms, with 1 en suite and main bathroom, separate sauna, well equipped kitchen. Large enclosed garden ideal for our dogs. The cottage allows 2 dogs, which incurs a fee, which is per dog, per night. A dog welcome pack is provided with a dog bowl, towel, and small blanket for dogs to use during their stay and dog treats and poo bags provided aswell. Dogs not allowed on the furniture or in the bedrooms.
A couple of negatives. The lights in the lounge are quite dim, and the exterior lights (particularly at the kitchen door) are ineffective. The other negative was that the kitchen and lounge floor could have been cleaner. 
The WiFi speed was good. The cottage was nicely decorated.
Check out time was a strict 10am with a list of instructions to be followed for check out procedure. After check out I had reason to phone reception, the staff were very friendly and efficient, so a big thanks for their help.
I booked through a 3rd party website this time, but next time, I will just book directly with Silverglades. Although we didn't need a 3 bedroom cottage, it met our needs perfectly and would probably book the same cottage again, but differently will return to Silverglades, Aviemore in the future

Stag cottage 

Everything was absolutely wonderful, spotlessly clean and a a real home from home feeling. Very well equipped kitchen with high quality white goods. Lots of space for everyong to relax and even have a sauna. Cannot recommend these hiday lets highly enouvh, and the staff are fantastic.

Simply fantastic!

We planned to stay at Number 68 Snowy Owl Lodge for 3 nights and loved it so much extended the stay for a week. We invited some family from London and made some magical memories.
The lodge is well equipped and very homely, a lot of tender loving care has gone into making it a home from home. 
The bathroom had a big bath and spacious shower cubicle also a separate small toilet. The bedrooms were immaculate and comfortable. The kitchen was clean and stocked up on dishes, glassware and cutlery etc. the small garden has a bbq and enough space to sit out and enjoy the sun all day as the garden is a sun trap. We took our little furry friend Kali and he was catered for with a welcome pack and loved the garden to investigate. 
We had a wonderful time and will return to Snowy Lodge!

We visited and experienced the stunning scenery and visited 2 Lochs. 

Local restaurants were nice however short staffed due to the current climate shut at last minute so keep an eye on social media before going to dine.

Scottish Summer Memories

Stayed for a week in number 68 a snowy owl lodge with my partner. Lodge was very nicely decorated and clean with lots of amenities: large bath, power shower, log burner, oven/grill, hob, dishwasher and washing machine. The kitchen was very well equipped with utensils/pans and crockery. We didn’t use the garden but it was tidy and enclosed so perfect to bring a dog.
The master bed was huge and super comfy!
Aviemore center is just a short walk away with restaurants, bars, shops and bus/railway station.
Would recommend and stay again if we come back to the area.

Things we did while we were here:
• Snowboarding, we had some brush up lessons with Free Ski.
• Iverness - a 40 minute or so bus ride from the train station.
• Culloden Battlefield - about a half hour drive, just outside Iverness.
• Drove around The Black Isle, that was about another half hour from Culloden.
• The Highland Folk Museum - About half an hour away, an outdoor living museum with lots to look at.
• Loch Ness - about 45 min drive, to Fort Augustus and then another 30 min or so to Fort William. Took scenic routes so took a bit longer, Fort Augustus is pretty and worth a visit but apart from Ben Nevis didn’t really find much in Fort William.

We ate at the Cairngorm Hotel and the Winking Owl, both were very nice. The breakfast sandwiches from The Coffee Corner were really good too!

Lovely Stay

Our annual stay for Thunder plus a wedding in the garden. We truly cannot thank all of the staff for their help. It literally feels luke our second home and that we are visiting faily. We cabnot recommend you highly enough. Until next time

Just back from a fantastic 3 nights at the dalmore 159 . Perfect little cottage.  Had our cocker spaniel with us who loved the enclosed garden. Great walks. So clean and decorated beautifully! Loved the doggy welcome pack too. Loved it so much booked again before we left!

Great holiday

My family and I, age range 25 to 85 stayed here for our 4th stay in The Stag. We have been coming to Silverglades for 8 years.
Such a lovely place to stay, very comfortable, exceptionally clean, everything you could need provided.
Aviemore is just a 10 minute walk away and Dalfaber is lovely for meals, we also played Badminton there too, again just a few minutes walk away.
Lovely helpful staff, we were kept fully informed and sent information from the time of booking.
Also thankyou for the bottle of Prosecco and shortbread biscuits, tea, coffee and milk, a lovely touch.
Will definitely be staying here again ❤

The Stag, wonderful place to stay

Have just stayed at The Stag Lodge 153 Dalanby, Silverglade holiday village ,Avimore with 2 friends and 2 dogs.
What a fantastic base to explore the area surounded by the beautiful Cairngorm mountains, fantastic walks for the  dogs and within easy walking distance of Avimore Centre. 
Local convienence store of a Co op near by( approx 10min walk) as well as  takeaway options of LOVELY Fish and chips or a Pizza if you cant be bothered to cook after a busy day out.
On the eating front  I would throughly recomend the Galaxy noodle bar in Avimore for  an amazing takeway and who will deliver also.
With regards to the property itself, it was a very comfortable stay ,well equipped, clean, comfortable beds and a generous enclosed garden for the dogs to play in.
My only slight comement might be that it could benefit from some different curtains in the bedrooms which allowed light in when the sun rise at 4.30am! Other than that a really lovely Stay !!

A lovely lovely stay

Beautiful bungalow, very clean and cosy. Had all the necessities we required if not more. Was easy checking in and checking out, staff were very friendly. Only 10 minutes from the main town which was also great. Will definitely book this bungalow again
