Chalet was bigger than expected.  We stayed In Craigowrie. Spotlessly clean.  Comfy beds. Plenty of parking.  Special mention of the handy man, sorry I never got your name, for helping get my engagement ring back. We are already planning our next visit.  


Girls Weekend

Booked here as it was very reasonably priced for a weekend to aviemore in august.

Chalets a lot bigger than expected and spotlessly clean.  Lots of wee extras included that we didn’t expect ur washing up liquid, tea towels, blue roll, bathroom toiletries and even tissues on the dressing table.

Comfy king sized bed we slept well all weekend and chalet even had a hair dryer included.  

Not much on site if you were travelling with kids but there was an Italian buffet and playpark.  We chose to bring all our food and drink with us and cook in chalet which had a lovely modern kitchen with nespresso machine included.

5 minute walk into aviemore which had some lovely walks and cycle paths as well as the strathspey railway.

Would definitely recommend and book agin when returning to the area.

Great find

Great location and a perfect base for a visit to Aviemore and all it has to offer. The chalet was spotlessly clean and had all you need for a self-catering holiday. Very comfortable and within walking distance of pubs and restaurants. We'll definitely stay there again.


Excellent accommodation 

Modern, well equipped, toasty and very comfortable. Excellent location for all activities with a short walk into town. Made for a very stress free activity holiday. Would return unless I was looking for a romantic rustic getaway.

Great, spacious, comfortable accommodation. Well appointed, excellent location

We stayed here just before Christmas for a couple of nights. We were blessed with snow so made everywhere look even more picturesque. We stayed in the first chalet as you enter the car park. Had everything to make a self catering stay with our dogs perfect. Even a Nespresso coffee machine. Very comfortable beds. I would say recently refurbished as looked nothing like the photos shown here! 
Very convenient for the A1 and on road to the ski slopes. We went to to Reindeer centre and walked with them on the side of the Cairngorms…… amazing experience! 
There is a lovely farm shop on the same road at  Rothimurchus about 5 mins from the chalet. Fantastic cafe serving the best fruit scones and great coffee. 
M&S garage about 2 mins in car and another couple of mins to a Tesco and then an Aldi. Quite a few touristy shops selling expensive outdoor clothing and other than that, a pretty bleak town. 
You would go for what’s around the area and High Range was perfect for that! I wouldn’t hesitate in returning. Only small negative was the sofa was slippy and a little uncomfortable.

Lovely place to stay.

The outside of the lodging looked rather tired,but the inside was great.

We stayed in one of the two person lodges - semi detached with another one on the other side - with our dog. Lots of room for two people, good heating and decent amount of room for the dog.

Bed was comfortable but pillows too large and hard for my liking so I used a cushion instead. Kitchen reasonably well equipped- no slotted spoons or chopping board that I could find - but cafetiere and nespresso maker.

All in all excellent value for money and nice to be within walking distance of the town.

Good value accommodation

I booked this for my fiancés birthday and we could not have been more impressed! We stayed in the Bynack More chalet and it was absolutely spotless! It had everything you could ever need, even a tray for your shoes after a walk! Lovely little touches too with a birthday card for my partner. We will definitely be back!!

30th Birthday Celebrations!

Perfect location, beautiful chalets, well equipped with everything you need. Beds are comfortable, spacious rooms, nicely carpeted and floored throughout. Seating area outside with bbq. Dogs are welcomed.  Definately be back again.

Stunning chalets

Had a one night stay here. Chalet was great, really well equipped and very clean. Location is good for local pub / shop. We stayed in one of the chalets that had an adjoined chalet, sound proofing could be improved as you can hear everything  that is going on next door through the thin walls. Wifi was very handy to have and was reliable too.

Weekend Visit to Aviemore

We absolutely loved our stay at High Range. We stayed in one of the 2-person chalets. It was a lovely chalet, and I already miss being there! I could happily live there. 

It had everything we needed. There was a kettle and a nespresso machine with a few tea  bags and a couple of nespresso pods. Had never used one before, so that was a nice treat! Had some washing up liquid and soap left for us which was really useful! There was also all the cutlery, plates, bowls etc and anything you could need

There was a nice TV and DVD player which came in handy in the evenings and on a super windy day. 

 The sofa was super comfy, with one long seat to stretch your legs out on. 

The bed was massive and super comfy. I slept very well.

Shower and bathroom was all very nice, and there was also an extra area in the bedroom with a hairdryer and mirror which was handy. 

The whole place was absolutely spotless. I don't think I have ever stayed anywhere so clean. It was lovely.

The people were also very nice, and very kindly let us leave our bags at reception before we checked in and after we checked out. 

Only a 10 minute or so walk to the village where you can get food etc. 
Also near to he bus stop to take you to the ski centre.

Only real negative is that our chalet was semi detached so we did get a bit of noise from the neighbours, but in our case it wasn't really a problem. 

I would definitely recommend staying here and would not hesitate to stay here again.
