Beautiful, homely, cosy and with a personal touch. Ian and Jacky are very much the most gracious hosts and we felt warmly invited into their home. Impeccably neat and clean. Rooms are spacious and decorated in all things Scottish. We booked three rooms for our family: a giant king, a king and single room for our party of 5 adults. Beds and pillows were very comfortable and the temperature in the house was perfect. There is a kettle and coffee in each room with cookies that I enjoyed. We had WiFi, Tv and DVD a player, ample plugs to charge devices and slippers for wearing on the carpets. 

Breakfast was the star- everyone raved about the haggis. There are many choices- you will find something you will enjoy. Ian and Jacky prepare everything thing themselves. It was great quality food prepared well. 

The garden is interesting and we appreciated it mostly from our rooms because of the weather. A mischievous sense of humour was possibly the landscape brief. 

We loved our stay and wish we could stay longer. The drive to get here to Glencoe,  is possibly one of the most beautiful we have seen. Natural and rugged with the all the elements of the Scottish winter. Make dinner reservations in the area in advance as places open and close early over this time(winter and Christmas)

Great experience 
Nice hosts, Nice place, clean rooms, quiet and well situated.
The bed room and bathroom are big, convenient, and quiet.
We also recommend the breakfast, home made and excellent.
Everything is clean, which is great !
Big place for the cars.
The situation is also perfect for hiking and to discover those beautiful mountains.

The place to be

Absolutely fabulous bed and breakfast. If you are coming to this area, book this place straight away! The rooms were large, impeccably clean and cozy. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. They gave us suggestions of places to hike since it was raining. They gave suggestions of places to eat and to get to the car parks before 10am so you could find a space.
Their two cats were very friendly and sweet as well. Our breakfast was also great. We really didn’t need to eat lunch because we had plenty to eat at breakfast. And we appreciated having an honesty bar of whiskey, so we were able to sample a local whiskey which was very good. 
I felt very comfortable and well taken care of here. Hope to come back some day!

Best Bed and Breakfast in Glencoe area

Stayed here for 1 night and this B and B certainly had some good points. Exceptionally clean, great location, lovely plate of food at breakfast and good value for money. It did though have a negative aspect to it. This was feeling over controlled by the owner and a little uncomfortable at times. The reason for our stay was to break up our journey further north and for us to have a walk down the quiet back road from the village to the Clachaig Inn about 2 miles away however the owner did as much as he could to steer us away from visiting this pub. We were told about the dangers of the A82 which I already knew about and had already researched and Google mapped the back route. Other recommendations for places to eat and drink were given which were  appreciated however the level of freedom we expect from hosts wasn’t there unfortunately. Felt we were being judged for what we had planned. Shame for this as the score would have been a 5/5 stay otherwise.  

A mixture 

Beechwood Cottage is a lovely clean accommodation with a fantastic breakfast and helpful hosts. It is centrally located to visit Glencoe. The rooms are very new and well designed. The setting has a beautiful view.

Lovely clean room in great location

Tip top B&B, the cleanest we have ever visited in 27 yrs. Host and hostess are born naturals and truely know how to make someone feel welcome, extremely well organized and everthing thought out to a T down to making dinner reservations. Thank you both for a wonderful stay while in Glen Cloe.

Cute and comfortable in beautiful Glencoe village. Jackie and Iain were kind and knowledgeable hosts. Great made to order breakfast every morning. I especially loved the scrambled eggs and Scottish salmon. Take their advice on restaurants and what to see and do in the area. Also, Iain has a great deal of knowledge about scotch whisky! We had a wonderful stay! Thanks Iain and Jackie!

Cute and Comfy in Glencoe

On arrival check in was easy. We had lots of information about the room and property. There seemed to be concern about how, when and where we would eat which was curious.
We were also told to keep all powerpoints switched off while not in use to save power, we found this a bit odd.
The room was spotless and well presented however it was quite small and the bed was a double, but it seemed really small.
Breakfast was lovely. Some have commented on the cats and how they like them - I’m not a fan of having cats hang around during breakfast but that probably says more about me than the cats.
The BnB is in a spectacular location, our two night stay was fine but it did feel like there were a lot of rules. And the skeletons and death theme through the driveway and garden seemed creepy.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! Stayed for one night on a quick trip through Glencoe, but wish we stayed with Jackie and Iain longer! Warm, home away from home experience was a true highlight and they gave us very informative tips of the area that made our stay unique. Both Jackie and Iain are absolute sweethearts and their two cats were cute and friendly! Very very very very clean and tidy accomodations. Best booking on our two week trip! Thank you!

Amazing! Home Away From Home!

One of the best b&b’s when we visited scotland, they were polite and open for a chat, giving recommandations for dinner aswell as activities near the b&b and around scotland.

Jackie and Ian, thanks for the hospitality and i would recommend anyone who wishes to travel to scotland stopping by.
