An absolutely fantastic experience! From the moment we arrived, Bertie and Cheryl made us feel completely at home with their warmth and incredible hospitality. Breakfast each morning was a highlight, with a delicious Irish fry that kept us fueled for the day. The beds were wonderfully comfortable, and the rooms were cozy, clean, and thoughtfully decorated, creating a warm, homely feel.

Ample free parking made coming and going effortless, and we loved meeting Bertie’s gorgeous German Shepherd, Maisie, who added to the welcoming atmosphere. Despite being near a busy road, the views were beautiful and peaceful—you hardly noticed any noise. To top it all off, Bertie surprised us with a fireworks display one evening, making the stay truly unforgettable.

It felt more like visiting friends than staying at a typical B&B. I can’t recommend this place enough for anyone seeking comfort, personality, and outstanding hospitality.

Home from Home

We booked to stay at this location, firstly I have never delt with someone so accommodating, I accidentally booked the wrong day for a trip organised with friends, and when I contacted the venue to explain, it was absolutely no problem.  The host was extremely friendly and welcoming. The rooms were pristine, clean & homely.
Breakfast was freshly cooked, hot and a great selection on the menu.
Plenty of parking, which was fantastic, considering there were 9 motorbikes to park for the night.
Can't recommend the venue highly enough, you won't be disappointed 😉

The host Bertie was very welcoming and it was a nice experience.. very homely and lovely fresh breakfast .. would recommend without hesitation..lovely countryside location near to a lot of sights and natural phenomenon such as the giants causeway

Good experience

Conveniently located between Coleraine and Portrush, ideal to explore the Giant's Causeway, Dunluce area. Very well run B&B, owner is super-friendly and of great assistance. Rooms are tastefully decorated, tidy and clean, and breakfast is fresh and tasty. Property provides excellent value for money. Very much recommended.

Have to say cant thank linda enough for all her help and letting me stay.i was due to work two days at the air show for security.booked lindas place to safe my journey up and down.due to it not going ahead because of HER MAJESTY death.

i was offered two nightshifts in portrush and thought would linda be able uo let me stay sunday morning till sunday night tlll my shift started.there was no issue at all and was very helpful.not many bed and breakfasts would do this.

on arrival at 8am linda greeted me sjowed me my room and then offered me breakfast as i was just of nightshift was hungry got a fry up.have to say it was yummy.there was loads and very fresh.got toast as well.

nice touch givt you pot hot water and a jar of my favourite coffee on the table lo,r.

i enjoyed breakfast.My room was spotless and bed so comfy.had great sleep ready for another night.have to say very cheap for what you get offered.

With work I travel a lot and I was treated to a lovely stay in an old fashioned and lovely lodge. The room was lovely and fittings grand. Linda was lovely and friendly and I hope to return soon. PS Great Breakfast.

Best place I have stayed in a long time

We loved it! The house was spotless clean everywhere. We have our dog with us Linda has no problem with the dog at all. We shared the bathroom which was huge and lovely full with shower gel and shampoo and lot more. We definitely will go back

Amazing 

I'm a bit confused as to how there are no Average reviews of this B & B.  We stayed Oct, 2018, based on the rave reviews.  We have stayed in approximately 10 different B&B's during two different trips to Ireland.  This is not a 5* B&B.  I am going to give a totally honest, unbiased review:  

The location is not ideal for good restaurants or walking, but it's pretty close for Giants Causeway, Rope Bridge, Dunluce Castle and the distillery.  Linda suggested Molly's Restaurant and unfortunately we thought that was not quit good.  We were there an hour before closing so they kind of ignored us and went about doing all their closing activities.  The service was not good nor was the hospitality.  

Linda was very nice, but she certainly was not overly friendly or helpful.  She did not spend any more time than necessary in conversation.  When there was interaction, she was very nice, but I definitely got the feeling she has been doing this for so many years, it's just a job and she was not very interested in mingling at all.  
The house itself was very neat and clean, but very old and outdated.  The carpets were all worn and stained.  The furnishings were all very old, worn and outdated.  There were large stains on the dining room ceiling from leaks.  The bedroom we were in had three single beds and a double bed.  The bed coverings were all very outdated, but the sheets were clean.  The double bed was ancient.  The mattress was like sleeping in a marshmallow.  It was a platform type with no box spring.  I could hardly get out of the bed.  The pillows were flat and hard.  Everything was just about adequate but very old.  The bedroom carpet was worn with three additional carpets over the old carpeting.  They were cheaply bound causing me to trip every time I walked out of the bathroom.  I have no idea why they were even there.  They did not match and appeared to have no purpose other than to be in the way.  There were 4 bath towels in the bathroom.  Two folded on the rack and two hanging on the back of the door.  I took for granted they were all clean.  I used one from the door to dry my face and found there were stains and dried blood on it....disgusting!  I'm not sure if they were just permanently stained or she just forgot them hanging there from the previous guests.  All the towels were different. There was absolutely no room in the bathroom to put any toiletries.  There was a large space next to the shower that they could have placed a table or shelf but there was nothing.  No consideration for guests and how they can actually function in the bathroom. There were no luggage racks, so I had to put the luggage on the extra beds, which I would not normally do. 

There was wi-fi, but not in our room, it was out of reach.  You have to go to the downstairs lounge.  She did say the room had a booster, but it did not work.

Breakfast was good, but again nothing special.  No home baked items or breads.  There was assorted cereals in plastic cereal bins and about 12 boxes of cereal stored under the table they were served on.  It just looked very cheap and not professional.  The coffee offered was instant from a jar not the usual french press that is so fantastic in Ireland.  I just felt like the host did as little as possible to get by and provide adequate service.  She will get solid bookings all season long, so she does not have to change anything!
 
Everything about this property was just adequate, not a bit of extra money was spent to make this a good b&b experience. It would appear that they have not put a penny into this property in the past 25 years.  I have been in much better b&b's for the same 86 euro per night price we paid in October.  It was just not what I  expected for the ratings that this property has.  If you are looking for old and adequate, this was okay.
