What a wonderful place! The hosts, Berkeley and Claire, were fantastic. A warm welcome and quick responses throughout my stay (via WhatsApp). I had been traveling for a few weeks and they were kind enough to do a load of laundry for me. The morning I checked out, Berkeley sent me super helpful information about that day’s route as well as the following day’s route. Breakfast was delicious and well organized. The b&b is well located a few minutes’ walk to restaurants, shops, and the beach. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Ballycastle!

Wonderful stay

We were looking for a room on very short notice after our ferry to Scotland was cancelled. Berkeley was the most gracious and understanding host. The room fit our needs perfectly and the included breakfast was amazing. We were able to check in early and had many great recommendations for place to eat close by. I can’t speak enough to the hospitably here.

Wonderful host and accommodation

My husband and I stayed for one night and loved it. The guesthouse was very clean and comfortable and the breakfast was great - we had the lovely vegetarian cooked breakfast. It is situated close to the town, restaurants and the beach and it was easy to get parked. The owners are lovely and very welcoming. We would definately recommend An Caislean and will will be back soon

Excellent guesthouse

An Caeslean is exceptional. We will definitely be back. Lovely, comfortable room, great breakfast (veggies catered for!) and warm, welcoming hosts. In town, so convenient but quiet and peaceful. Highly recommended. Just wish we could have stayed longer!

Great Stay At An Caislean, Ballycastle

Definitely the nicest place we stayed at on our Causeway Coastal Route holiday.
Location is very good, being very close to the beach and harbour, and just a short walk from the town centre where there are some really, really nice restaurants (we went to the Anzac Bar and the Cellar, both of which were fabulous).
The room was a good size, clean and comfortable.
There is a really nice lounge with lots of info and a very well stocked kitchen (countless different types of tea).
Very good breakfast and lots of choice.
But definitely the biggest advantage of staying here was the host who was always there, offering an unbelievable amount of help and clearly working very, very hard to help people get the most out of their stay.

Two nights at An Caislean on Causeway Coastal Route

Had a wonderful stay while on an equestrian and general vacation. The host was welcoming & helpful throughout our stay. The B&B itself is comfortable, spacious with a number of sitting areas as well as a full kitchen available to guests. Breakfast selection very good. The location is excellent, with a 5-minute walk to the waterfront and 10 min walk up into town. We would definitely stay here again!

What a charming and welcoming place to call home for 6 nights!  Cosy and quaint, the Inn offers piping hot breakfasts, clean accommodations and a helpful staff who go above and beyond to make your stay feel like home.  Thanks Berkeley for making our equestrian holiday memorable!

Excellent hosts and a pleasure to stay in a beautiful house . Everything was perfect . Loved this place . Super Breakfast , Would recommend . Beautiful rooms and an all round welcoming experience from a very professional host .   

Superb

We had a wonderful stay here for 6 nights while on an equestrian tour. The host, Berkeley, is absolutely the BEST! He was so welcoming & helpful throughout our stay. Within 5 minutes of our early evening arrival on a Thursday evening, he booked us into dinners at local restaurants that can be hard to get into.

The B&B itself is quaint & comfortable, and exactly what we were looking for in a local place. The location could NOT be beat, with a 5-minute walk to the waterfront and 10 min walk up into town. We would definitely stay here again!

Location & service cannot be beat!

Had an amazing stay here while on an equestrian riding trip.  The hosts were attentive to details, very accommodating, and gracious.  Our stay was very comfortable and the breakfasts were outstanding.  Can't wait to visit again.
