My mum and I really enjoyed our overnight stay at the Adair arms. The staff were very friendly, helpful and our room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was lovely, and again the staff helpful.  I will definitely be wanting to stay here again.

Relaxing.

We had a delicious, well presented meal served by courteous and very pleasant staff. First class in every way and very good value. The Adair Arms is always very comfortable, warm and cleanliness is second to none! Thank you to the management and staff for keeping up such high standards!

Gets Better Every Time!

The family were staying in the adair hotel from England for my mother's 90th birthday and could not have been more pleased. The hotel is spotlessly clean in all the public areas and the rooms are comfortable and well equipped. All the staff are very polite and helpful with a number of them asking my mother if she was enjoying her birthday. The function room for party was well laid out and comfortable and the meal was tasty so we decided to have the afternoon tea the next day which was excellent. I would like to thank all the staff for making our stay pleasant and would not hesitate to book this hotel the next time we are in Ballymena 



Family visit 

Me and my family follow a tradition of booking a Christmas breakfast with friends.
This year was such a let down.
Charged my 4 year old full price £8.95.
£60 for 2 adults and 4 children.
Food and juice not topped up, just bags of shop bought bread sitting beside a toaster.

Very disappointed, especially because of the price. 

Rip off Breakfast! 

A big thank you to all the lovely friendly helpful staff at the Adair Arms Hotel, you always make our stay worth while. My Mother and myself just love coming here, and we have booked again for December. The rooms are spotless and very comfortable, the food as always was delicious and plentiful. Breakfast also great, no complaints at all. I want to mention Roland the manager who is a credit to the hotel, he is always so good to us and even took our cases up to our room for us. He's always busy but always makes time for everyone.
Looking forward to our stay in December.

Stayed with my wife in this hotel during a weekend celebrating my birthday and can't sing it's praises enough. The room was great, very clean and spacious,warm and bed comfortable. The location is excellent within walking distance to the two main shopping centres and town centre. Breakfast was great and the lady on duty was friendly and very helpful ensuring everyone was happy. Reception staff at check in and check out were very efficient in their duties and very welcoming. I can't believe the few negative reviews some guests have posted and instead would dispute them and highly recommend this hotel to everyone. We will certainly be staying again and recommending it to all our family and friends. Thank you Adair Arms for a wonderful stay.      

Excellent Hotel and Staff

The Adair Arms is centrally located in Ballymena centre with all the attractions on your door step. The hotel benefits from its own car park at the rear of the hotel. The lobby of the hotel is very attractive and decorated with plush fixtures and fittings. There are plenty of comfortable seating areas benefitting from bar service. The staff were very attentive and friendly throughout the stay. The prices in the bar are reasonable and there is live music on Saturdays. The common areas of the hotel can not be faulted and was a beautiful place to spend the evening enjoying the atmosphere.  
The check-in was very friendly and efficient and the double room was on the second floor in the original part of the hotel. The hotel dates back to the 1840s and maintains that character from the façade of the hotel and the exposed beams in the room which was is the roof. The room was a good size and comfortable. It had the necessary amenities such as tea/coffee, TV, hair dryer, ironing etc. However it is now looking its age as are the furnishings which unfortunately let down the appeal of the room. Instead of being a pleasurable oasis for time out from the city it encouraged time spent out of the room. The bathroom was also much outdated and out of style from the rest of the hotel.
The breakfast in the hotel was catered for in the restaurant. This was buffet style with a nice selection of continental offerings along with cooked items. Everything was good quality and tasted well. The staff again were very welcoming and friendly.
The WiFi needs to be joined with email and is weak with 5mbs.
Overall this is a very nice hotel for a meal, drink or afternoon tea. The communal areas are very plush and comfortable and the staff are very friendly. The rooms are dated and fine to just sleep in but would benefit from being brought up to standard with the rest of the hotel.



Traditional and with warm charm

Rooms very basic and ours had a distinctive smell of smoke. We were offered another room but it was freezing so declined and nothing else was offered but going by breakfast this morning we could have had lots more options. Cooked breakfast dripping in fat plus no fresh fruit option (tinned grapefruit, mandarin oranges and prunes). Lady at breakfast very good.

We stayed at the Adair Arms on the night of a wedding for £145.
Our first room was on the first floor, right above the live entertainment and therefore so loud you couldn't have a conversation at normal speaking level never mind sleep.
The staff were very friendly and arranged for us to be moved to the second floor where the noise wasn't as bad.

However the room itself was extremely dated: 
The toilet didn't flush property, the shower head was tiny and installed at shoulder height etc.
In general the room was just run down.
The bed was comfortable however. 

Overall for the price of the room we were bitterly disappointed, for a £70 cheap stay we would have had no complaints, but at £145 we felt scammed frankly.

Overpriced and very dated

Wonderful hotel, warm, clean, welcoming, we had room 206 it was very spacious and cozy all in one, bed was comfortable. The staff were lovely, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Breakfast was a buffer, it was topped up constantly and plenty on offer. We also had sn evening meal in the restaurant, again great service and lovely food. We will definitely be making a trip back there.
