Another very good PI stay. We are onto our 4th Premier Inn on this trip and Banbury ticked all the boxes.  Didn’t see or need to see much of staff except for checking in.  Room was as to be expected - although I had a peak at the room opposite and it looked significant larger than our Premier Plus room.  Shower in bathroom which is just how we like it. 
Good location. Short drive into Banbury centre and very close to a big Primark & M&S retail outlet.

We stayed here a few nights as we had Band of Builders charity working in our house making an adpated bathroom, we needed somewhere with a disabled access room for a few nights so chose this Premier Inn as not far away.  We had such a warm welcome from Kate as soon as we arrived.  Room was perfect with the adapted wet room for my husband.  We ate in the restaurant twice and it was brilliant, good pub food and great service.  We even went back for another night as felt so welcome and relaxed there.

A really great stay

Loved the location of this hotel. The parking was free which was great and the hotel is new and the rooms were really good. Feedback, the reception staff were not very friendly and there was no availability at the restaurant even though it was mostly empty, would have been worth telling you this before arrival so you could book. We had to go out

We booked this hotel last minute because it was the closest to our venue, and since it's a Premier Inn, I expected the usual standard of cleanliness and comfort. Unfortunately, this stay was far from what we’ve experienced at other locations.

The Wi-Fi was terrible. It barely worked unless we opted to pay extra for the faster option, which is frustrating when basic Wi-Fi should be included.

The hotel restaurant was incredibly loud, though to be fair, this was mostly due to other guests being rowdy, which is why we opted to eat elsewhere.

The room was where things really fell short. The bathroom was severely outdated—limescale all over the showerhead, grime and dust around the skirting boards, and a tired, dingy shower curtain. Worse, the shower was either scalding hot or freezing cold, with no middle ground, making it very difficult to use.

The bed sheets were another letdown, with what looked like makeup stains on them, which left me questioning the overall cleanliness of the room. The TV was wonky on the wall, and the bedside tables didn’t match the rest of the furniture, giving the room a mismatched, poorly maintained feel.

Due to the nature of our stay, we were on a tight schedule and already stressed, so I didn’t complain at the time. 

Normally, Premier Inn is a safe bet, but this one fell far below expectations.

Disappointing Stay - Not Up to Premier Inn Standards

I booked 2 bookings one for the thursday night for 2 rooms and 1 booking for the friday. I asked the staff to confirm we could have the same room for 2 nights and they said not a issue. my son went back to his room for the second night and they just kept saying he dosent have a booking and no one is in the room number where he left all his clothes. the receptionist just kept saying go away.  I returned from my honeymoon to get this sorted as my son has slight learning issues. when I showed the member of staff my booking the same one my son showed her she still said he had no booking   all of a sudden she looked on another system and it was all there and she gave him a key.
this took an hour to sort out and spoilt our wedding evening as we had to keep checking in on him as he was so upset.
