We`ve stopped by at Kathleen`s for just one night, on our way to the isle of Skye.We booked the room without windows - the room was clean and cosy, with a large king-size bed, and a small, private bathroom next to it. Kathleen is a lovely host: she gave us very detailed instructions on how to reach her place not to mention that she is also an excellent cook - the breakfast was exceptional! Definitely recommend her place.

Kathleens bnb is in a perfect location, she is a nice person to talk to and cooks a lovely breakfast, gardenstown is a beautiful place to visit,nice laid back atmosphere and fantastic views to take in,I will definitely visit again.

I had the pleasure of staying at Kathleen’s in early June for a golf weekend with some family. 

The BnB is located in a small village called Gardenstown which has some great views out over the harbour. 

We were playing in a golf open along in Banff and the course was only a 30 mins drive away from the BnB. As a group of 3 it is sometimes difficult to get 3 beds in a room but Kathleen’s had managed to fit 3 in but also still leave enough room for us all to move about. 

We stayed 2 nights and received a lovely welcome from the BnB owner plus a hearty breakfast both mornings before we set off on our daily golf. The cooked breakfasts were superb and if you wanted something different Kathleen was more than willing to cook for you. 

For those looking to explore the area and in search of excellent Scottish hospitality look up this place. Great find! 

Lovely BnB and fantastic host

A friend booked me in here for a Saturday to Monday stay.  This is a really nice wee B and B in Gardenstown (Gamrie to locals) on the south east coast of the scenic Moray Firth.
Kathleen is a very welcoming hostess who keeps a beautifully clean and tidy house. She also cooks the most fantastic breakfasts!  
Highly recommended.

Nice and cosy

We, a family of four, stayed there for one night. We had the upstairs rooms with å shared bathroom. Kathleen was welcoming and helpful, the rooms were clean and the breakfast delicious. She offers wifi, a bit slow, but free. Parking was no problem, in the street one minute walk from the B&B.
The village was quiet and lovely, and we wish we could have stayed longer. We would love to go back. 

Charming B&B in a beautiful village 

I stayed here on business and once i got over the lack of parking...it's the narrowest street full of bumper to bumper cars parked up.(it's a tiny tiny village on a cliff overlooking the sea with one local spa shop)
You can unload and park 2minute walk away in a neighbouring street.
The shared bathroom was a shock (i didn't read that bit) but didn't prove to be a problem.
My room was quiet even with a full house.
My mattress was hard for what i am used to (think bunk bed style beds)
The lady who owns it is what makes it a great place she is very helpful and cooks a great breakfast!
The old school pub next door is great for food.(it's a tiny pub with no noise!) 
All in all great value for money.
