A lovely drink in the bar at Haven Inn. Windy and rainy outside.... what better way to spend a couple of hours in the afternoon .... Friendly staff. Cosy atmosphere. Decent prices. That'll do me! Thank you 👍 

Peaceful !!

If you need to relax, and rewind, come here! Nothing but peace, and relaxing! From the moment we entered, until we left.... inbetween we had a couple of drinks in the conservatory, until our food was ready.... and we were not disappointed! Lovely, and tasty ! Thank you all so much ! ❤️ xx

Relaxing!

My daughter and granddaughter stayed with you this weekend and said they were made to feel unwelcome. A lame excuse was offered about the heating not being on in their room, also they were asked what they would like for breakfast the night before? I am disappointed because I recommended you, being local to the area.

Unwelcome.

We have just returned from a two night stay and would definitely stay again. The room was small but very clean and comfortable and a problem with the shower was swiftly rectified. The breakfast was excellent, generous and well cooked. The staff are attentive and are clearly working hard to improve things. The only negatives would be the difficulties with the wifi and the lack of hand soap in the room (we ended up buying our own) We ate there both evenings as the food was excellent. The best fish and chips I've had in a long time!

Welcoming and friendly

We stayed on route to a further destination having chosen Haven Inn because of its good location and as a way to prepare for a relaxing UK summer break. The location is ideal for what we wanted, the reception staff where fantastic and soon we where at the right place. The owners and their bar/restaurant staff where equally attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Dinner was excellent and a couple of drinks in the beer garden on a beautiful summer evening was a perfect end to a long day. Breakfast the next morning was exceptional and we where ready to bid farewell and continue our journey. Would i stay at Haven Inn again, yes. Would I recommend the Haven Inn to you, yes. You`re welcome, as indeed you will be at Haven Inn.

Friendly and tranquil place

Just stayed 1 night in this friendly, nice place. 
Happy with everything. Very clean and comfortable. Dog friendly. 
Staff ensured we were ok and had everything we needed. 
Anything we asked for or enquired about was answered promptly etc. 
Will def stay again if in area. Thank you The Haven Inn!

Really good stay

I booked (at very short notice) the day before for Bank Holiday Monday lunch as we were visiting the local area for the day. The gentlemen I spoke to was very accommodating and managed to fit 7 of us in for a time that suited. We were welcomed and showed to our table. Track and trace details taken and hands sanitised. Tables were well spaced and all of the staff were lovely, especially our waitress (blond curly hair) she had a fab friendly manner and was great with the children. The food was very tasty and good portion sizes and the desserts were delicious. My little boy polished off a huge slice of chocolate fudge cake. A couple of real ales on offer at the bar kept the husbands happy and there was a good selection of good quality lagers on draft too. The staff were all very attentive during our visit and we had a lovely time. Thank you for fitting us in. We hope to return. 

Lovely meal and attentive service 

I'm sorry to say this 'hotel' and I use the term advisedly needs some money spent on it and fast. The door lock was literally falling off with me placing the screws back in the frame!

The bed whilst reasonably comfortable creaked every time I moved. As for the décor the less said the better, the room was simply tired and dated.

All in all a very poor experience, the staff we're pleasant enough although the reception should have told me something was up as it was an old table under the stairs.

Judging by my room investment is needed.

Oh dear investment needed

We traveled down to Hull to see friends and with having a dog with us places to visit were rather limited. My friend advised this place as the weather was lovely so we could sit in the garden. The staff were friendly, the food was gorgeous. The drinks were a little pricey but that couldn't be helped, the food was reasonable. I would definitely visit again.

Gorgeous food

My friend and I booked this last minute and what a treat. Fabulous countryside around it. Great value accommodation. Couldn't fault the dinner and breakfast, so am surprised to read some of the other reviews on here. Staff were friendly and professional.
