Stayed here for three nights whilst visiting Bath Xmas Market and a little sightseeing.  We were very pleased with this guest house and I have to say it was spot on for cleanliness/friendliness. The breakfast was great also.  The location is very good as you can walk into the city centre in about 20 mins (which we did every time and didn't bother with the buses at all).  It was a very pleasant walk, although the bus stops are close by.  The rooms and in fact the whole guest house was immaculate.  The food at breakfast was very good.  Maureen and Judith were very friendly and helpful.  Couldn't ask for any more from a guest house, I think I can safely say it is one of the best one I have stayed in and we do travel a lot.  I certainly wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if I return to Bath.

Marvelous place to stay

I booked a surprise weekend away for my boyfriends birthday, and from the start Judith was so helpful in recommending things to do, places to eat - even a restuarant for our first night  (A Thai place just 5 mins away and it was AMAZING!!)

The moment we walked into the guest house it felt warm and welcoming. Our room was  lovely and cosy and the beds were really comfy (Like sleeping on a cloud!) The smell of breakfast cooking in the mornings was a very welcome aroma, and it tasted fantastic! 

The walk into the city centre was about 30 mins, which was totally fine (even though it rained on our first attempt!) But Judith was lovely enough to let us borrow an umbrella through our stay, which we really appreciated. 

This place was lovely. I couldn't recommend it enough, both myself and my partner have said we will come back next year to do our Christmas shopping and would definitely be staying back here.

As mentioned before Judith was fantastic and a huge thanks has to be said to her. You really made us feel welcome and were an utterly fantastic host. We'll definitely be back !

Beautiful little guest house

We stayed here while we visited the Christmas markets. It is a great location with regular buses and local eateries. The guest house was very clean. The owner greeted us and was super friendly and gave us lots of information to make our visit run smoothly. Fab cooked breakfast and you can select from the items available the night before. The beds are comfy and the rooms have WiFi. We will definitely recommend this place to anyone heading to Bath. Thank you, Lou and Dan x

Lovely guesthouse 

I stayed at this guest house for three nights in November 2019. I can highly recommend this guest house if you are looking for accommodation that is affordable in Bath. While it is not right in the downtown area, it is just a 5 minute drive from the downtown, and it has free parking, too, which is at a premium in Bath. The rooms are very clean, modern and well appointed, and the service is very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast includes the "Full English", which is delicious, plus the usual cereal, juices, etc.. I have no hesitation in giving this establishment the highest rating and recommendation.

Excellent accommodation in Bath

Very comfortable room with on suite.  Plenty of tea, hot chocolate and coffee available in the room. Breakfast was very good. Walking distance to the Royal United Hospitals and a few Pubs.  Short bus or taxi ride to town centre. Parking is available on site. Would stay again.

Relaxing and Quiet

I stayed here on 26/27/28th July in a lovely single attic room with beautiful view of Bath. Judith, the manager was so kind and helpful. an amazing woman. the room was clean and her breakfast very yummy. totally enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend for everyone.

lovely and chic

We had come down to bath hospital where our daughter had just had our first grandchild so the booking was very last minute.  We left the hospital and found the hose was near by so had accidentally turned up very early.  Regardless Maureen welcomed us warmly.  
The house is spotless and the rooms are pleasant with plenty of space. My husband and I were in room 3 which had a small en suite. My mum was in room 1 which used the shared shower room.  Both rooms were well equipped. Tea and coffee facilities with biscuits we provided along with some basic toiletries in the en suite. There's a tv, hairdryer  free wifi and plenty of plugs and even a tower fan for the hot weather. The beds are very comfortable. 

Maureen lent us a parking pass so we could park outside.

Breakfast in the morning was cooked by the lovely Judith. There were cereals and juice as well as full English, toast and coffee. I'm veggie so had poached eggs on toast and it was perfectly cooked and delicious.

All in all it was a lovely place to stay and excellent value for money.

Will definitely be back if they'll have us

We only booked this 30mins before arrival. Four of us. We were greeted by Marisha. The rooms were very neat and tidy quite roomy and excellent value. The best part of this stay was the awesome hospitality. Marisha fave is great advice and local tips on the touristy bits of Bath and she was even able to cater for vegan friendly meals for one of our party. 
First class experience!!!

Awesome hospitality and vegan friendly 

From the welcome to the goodbye Judith could not have done more to make us feel welcome. The property was spotlessly clean, the breakfast was plentiful and cooked to perfection. The beds were very comfortable as was the room. We shared a bathroom and I have deducted one star as you could see into the bathroom from the landing as it has two glass panels. We hung a towel from the net rail to provide some privacy but the other guests didn't and therefore you could see them drying etc from the landing. A simple blind would offer the privacy needed. If you book a shared bathroom remember to block the glass panels with a towel! We would definitely stay again.

Lovely B and B

the place is quite plain and functional inside; the only slight issue was the basin in the shower room had a crack in it. The bedroom carpet crackled as you walked on it - cheap underlay. I had to pre-book my breakfast time slot on arrival and cooked breakfast preferences. But the room was clean, pleasant, warm and spacious with good views, comfortable bed (not very comfortable side chairs).  I’ve paid three times this amount and not been able to say all that.  There is a small guest lounge on the ground floor. 
When I’m travelling for work sleep quality is all that matters really and Marisha’s was fine.
