This b&b is beautiful. Jeff was the perfect host. So welcoming and friendly. 
Our room was lovely and the bed was huge and comfy.
Jeff was happy to give recommendation on where to eat or visit. 
We had a great nights sleep the only thing that woke us up was our little girl. 
Breakfast was amazing and I loved sitting round the big breakfast table talking to all the other guests.
My husband said the homemade porridge was the best he has tasted.

Lovely Host

My wife and I stayed at Beech Cottage for one night. We were made to feel very welcome and looked after. Jeff is a lovely host and does a good, healthy breakfast! We would happily stay again. The location is also good to access the beautiful city of Bath.

My wife and I spent two lovely evenings at Beech Cottage. Just a short bus ride from the center of town. Very peaceful, at the edge of some nice woodlands and a marvelous breakfast served by Jeff, our host. He also provided much valuable info about Bath and the surrounding areas. Would definitely stay there again. Highly recommended!

Marvelous location, fantastic host

My partner and I stayed for 2 nights at Beech Cottage and found it to be a fantastic base from which to see Bath. Jeff sat down with us when we arrived and told us where to go to get dinner and the best things to see and do around Bath (including some off the beaten path options). As advertised, the breakfast was a good mix of healthy items (Carribean porridge, fruit salad, coffee etc.). The room was comfortable and was a good price and there was parking on site for our rental car.

Great gem on the edge of Bath

Really friendly and comfortable. Lovely breakfast all around the table including excellent Carribbean porridge ! Attention to detail was much appreciated such as a little torch on the key ring to guide late night returns down the lane .

Stuffy not allowed food in rooms have only the option to sit at a table with strangers not my thing and over priced for what it is

Review

We stayed at Beech Cottage for two nights and certainly have no complaints! We asked prior to booking if we could have a late check in as we would only be arriving after 10pm , this wasn’t an issue and Jeff was there to greet us at the door on arrival! The bedroom was lovely and had everything we needed.The toast was the best I’ve ever tasted! 
Jeff advised on the best places to visit in Bath and how to walk via the scenic route. We were allowed to leave our car all day on the Sunday after we had checked out, nothing was too much trouble, would highly recommend!

Lovely B&B

Had a fabulous 2 night stay in what was one of the most friendly and relaxed B&Bs I have ever stayed in. Our hosts Jeff, Jacqui and JJ (the dog) welcomed us into their lovely home, nothing was too much trouble and Jeff gave us loads of advice on how to get the best out of our short time visiting Bath. I would 100 percent reccomend this lovely B&B, rooms were clean, bed extremely comfortable and the garden was lovely. Breakfast was lovely; a jamaican twist on traditional porridge was simply fab, sitting around the large kitchen table chatting to other guests and our fabulous hosts. We will definitely return.

Staying for Bath university visit booked via booking.com and what a find ! Fabulous room, comfortable, very clean,  lovely shower and delicious breakfast with the best tea. Hospitable hosts even helped with my flat tyre - highly recommended

Excellent Hidden Gem

Jeff and Jacqui made us very welcome.  Beech Cottage is clean, cosy and reasonable  (by Bath standards). It's an ideal base for visiting the city, as the bus in to the centre stops right outside.  The breakfast was excellent, especially the special porridge!  A very comfortable stay, which is definitely recommended.
