40th birthday celebration with family. Lovely place the accommodation the facilities on site the owners go over and beyond to make your stay go well. So enjoyed will be going back.

Did a boat trip . It was very enjoyable scenery superb.

Had a meal  the clansman they arranged a driver to take us and bring us back free of charge. Very nice driver. Nice staff.

Enjoyed the use of the pool missed out on the sauna with so much to do. The walks the trips.

We had a lovely bbq in our patio as we stayed in the stables that have been beautifully kitted out. The kids loved the glamping seeing all the animals especially Rambo the horse. Would go a longer stay next time.

The Jennings Lochness Glamping

We booked BCC lochness glamping a few weeks before and then read the reviews on here. It's fair to say we were a bit apprehensive as there are some terrible reviews. The   site itself was spotless, toilet and shower facilities were spot on, loads of sanitiser, toilet rolls etc. There is a stream that runs through it which is great for kids/dogs and provides a tranquil setting. Cabins were nothing less than you would expect for glamping, warm, dry and comfortable. Location wise there's a Spar shop and pub about 5 mins drive away at Corrimony. Heading in the other direction  the Loch Ness exhibition, nessieland and Drumnadrochit approximately 10 mins away. Facilities wise there's a fire pit (forest across the road for free fuel) bbq and dining area, most accommodation has a fence around for the dogs. Theres plug sockets and lighting in the cabins. Didn't try WiFi but can get a decent 4G signal. I don't usually write reviews but felt the bashing on here has been uncalled for. If you want a place to glamp that is a lovely location, comfy cabins and clean facilities then I highly recommend.

Excellent value, fantastic place

After reading the reviews I was a bit worried about staying here, however we were all pleasantly surprised when we arrived. We stayed in lodge 7, plenty of space and a little garden for the dogs. The lodge was nice and clean and had 2 bunk beds - one comfy and one really not! The toilets and showers were spotless and right next to our lodge. Self check in was easy and the owners kept us up to date with good communication. The location was nice and tranquil beside a cute stream. I would stay here again

Good

This  site is in need of a bit of TLC. The owners are rather nonchalant when it comes to inquiries by phone (there is no reception to make enquiries about communal areas, kitchen etc so tried calling the owners, not helpful) . Facilities were very disappointing. Shower and toilet block, shower curtains ripped off lying on floor, holes in every wall of the toilet stalls. Out side the toilet block housed the bins, which were overflowing to the point that there was discarded rubbish scattered all over. It’s in a good location, I think the owners are missing a trick here, they need to wake up an smell the coffee and start to invest more innovation and money to there business.

A bit run down at the heels

Unclean pod. Unkempt area . Bathrooms and showers not  clean. No hand gel and no clean drinking water
Beds dirty and mattresses uncomfortable. Floor not cleaned and unkempt garden. Not impressed.  Will not be back.

Unclean and disgusting smell from bathrooms

After reading the reviews we didn't expect it to be amazing. We arrived the lodge is as described. I don't think it had been cleaned and the bunk bed side slats were filthy with dirt. We brought our own bedding including fitted sheets, one of the beds looked like it had mould growing on the fitted sheet supplied. The curtains were covered with black blotches of mould. The lodge was absolutely freezing at night and the window wouldn't shut properly I considered going home with my 11 month old as it was really cold. I'd suggest taking a portable heater with you. The toilets were fine and looked clean, we never used the showers. My partner and boys were a bit disappointed with the fishing, there were too many rocks and they got caught in the trees when trying to cast out so they gave up. We chose this camp despite the bad reviews because my partner wanted to do some fishing with the boys. Thankfully we don't live far away. The futon in the lodge was awful, it was dirty and it's no good to sleep on. One side slants down and it's not comfy.i think this could be a great place if given some tlc.

Burn is too rocky for fishing, lodge freezing at night

I booked a stay here in December ‘23 and paid the deposit (approx £100). I sadly had to cancel the trip the next day and thought I was well within the refund deadline, but heard nothing back.
Mid January ‘24, about four weeks later the full balance was taken from my account (a further £213). 
Despite having received my cancellation email, thus money was still taken and multiple attempts at communication with the company have fallen on deaf ears. 
I am currently seeking legal advice on what can only be described as theft, but would definitely urge anyone planning on staying here to exercise extreme caution.

Theft

The hut reaked of mildew and musk. My chest felt very tight from all the mold I assume was behind the walls and under the floors.  We ended up leaving after 1 night as I felt very ill. The showers were horrific.   Black mold all over the ceiling, walls, shower curtian, and shower caulking. This place is a health hazard.  Im suprised it has not been shut down. It seems as if the owners don't care or have abandoned it.

There was nothing magical for us muggles at this place!!! Death eaters must of been here! Booked Hagrids house for our harry Potter mad daughter thinking it would make her day, in fact it was just a disgusting mess. Have no idea why you would have this many bad reviews and not have done something about it!! Mouldy damp stained curtains, rubbish under sofas, blinds were best left open if you didn't want to have a sudden boke attack! Dirty blankets, no lock on the door ...the list goes on! Anyway a 3 hour drive home and a waste of time and money. DO NOT BOOK!

Hagrids house & cabin 6 Don't book!!

Wasn't expecting much for money we paid. Were looking forward to trying hobbit for night away. Arrived into carpark. Building site one side. Car with broken windows other. Found our way to hobbit 1. Door wide open. First thing you see fire pit full off broken bottles. Nails and melted spoons in the garden as you enter gate. First impressions looks how you'd expect. Wasp bike at the broken entrance wasn't great. Moved some of the seats to make bed area. Filthy. Not been cleaned in long time. Dirt n hair lying around bed matts. White engrained patches on wooden bases. No fire extinguisher nor smoke alarm. Went to open storage bedding didn't even get out covered in brown staining. Blinds old and covered in black spots. Shame.. door won't lock either.... wouldn't of taken long to check and clean the place. Uncared for. Neighbours arrived went into hobbit 2. Few moments later left. Saying photos are around 18 years ago definitely not represented in what u get and left. walked around site landpod open looked inside dirty and smelly.. caboosh was open husband looked inside and looked away nearly through up with the smell inside it...
