This was a return visit for us staying in our own tent for the first time whilst our horses were in a secure paddock. We have been here and stayed in the cottages, vintage caravan and now used a tent space. The facilities are excellent, the Wi-Fi extremely good, the horse facilities superb, the hosts are incredible, very friendly and accommodating, the breakfast delivered to the tent was delicious as was the evening meal. Niki provided massages for the horses at the end of our stay which they both thoroughly enjoyed.

Return visit

I stayed in a Pod. As described on the website, these are basic and you have to bring your own bedding. However, the mattress was very comfortable and I had a great sleep. The food provided (order in advance) was excellent, both dinner and a healthy fruit breakfast. I had the Laurel Pod which looked out on to fields. Basic camping without the hassle of carrying a tent.

Brandy house is so welcoming, you are treated like friend, accommodation in the pods is absolutely brilliant and the whole place gives you an air of calm, so you can chill out and enjoy your time away with your horse, it's situated in the middle of beautiful views and on the side of the Shropshire hills, 5 mins gets you up into the hills, riding through shunning scenery and if you are lucky you will some the beautiful wild ponies, seriously can't wait till next year

5 days of pure bliss

We stayed at the vintage caravan on Brandy House Farm while walking the Glyndwr’s Way national trail. The accommodation was very comfortable and well equipped, the staff were welcoming and friendly, and the location is fantastic. We were particularly impressed with the food, delivered as ‘takeaways’ to the accommodation. The dishes were excellent and good sized portions, and the ‘granola breakfast’ option was fantastic, with fresh fruit, yoghurt and honey - an excellent start to a days walking. The only recommendation I’d give to the owners - other than just keep doing what you’re doing - is to think about serving the food in recyclable or reusable dishes rather than foil containers. This really is a gem of a place to stay!

A quirky caravan glamping experience in the Radnorshire hills

Great little set up. Quiet location. Accommodation was great we stayed in Pods and friends had the caravan and larger pod. No WiFi,  only available down the shower block which for us was ideal as we truly switched off. It is dark and maybe some lighting would of been good around the walk ways. Firepit was a little pricey for £10 a night compared to other campsites. But overall was a good stay despite the weather 

Switched off for some R&R

We have been to brandy house farm several times over the years with our horses. We have stayed in most of the different accommodation they offer. On this occasion we stayed in the vintage caravan which was really comfortable with great views across the countryside. Richard and Medina always make us and our horses feel very welcome. Their is a bench with Wifi written on it where it is possible to get some wifi if needed.

Friendly , accommodating host. Relatively organised considering covid restrictions (rather small welcome welsh cake, tea, coffee and milk). Highlight was wood fired hot tub (star gazing!) Very eco-friendly setup. Quaint WiFi bench. Great options of camping, pods, a retro caravan or cottage. Barn cottage stay was lovely with the sound of happy horses beside garden. Beautiful views.

Lovely

Fantastic find right in the heart of the Welsh marches. Excellent facilities if you want to take your horse, we had our own stable and paddock, everything on hand and easy to organise. 
Stayed for two nights in the Laurel camping pod, very basic but functional and comfortable. Breakfast each morning ( have to pre book) was delivered to the pod as was an evening meal, again food was lovely and good value. Would recommend the 5 mile Llanrhys route for ease of navigation and a stress free trek.  Also have a meal in the Radnorshire Arms,  Beguildy,  beautiful food at an excellent price.

Just box up your horse and go

Fantastic owners who made the whole stay a massive success. Beautiful views. Lovely welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. We had a group of 15 . Breakfast for everyone at 0700. Could not be bettered.

Cycle trip round Wales

We had a brilliant short break in one of the cottages at brandy house. Its a beautiful place with stunning scenery. Cottage was very comfortable and well equipped, garden was super to sit out in
Great walks up onto the hills, highly recommended place for people that love the countryside and the peace and quiet there
