I have had the best time here! Having had a 4 night stay at a very low point in my life, Julie has cheered me up no end. Her motto of "arrive as guests and leave as friends" could not be more true. Her home quickly becomes 'your home too' and is so welcoming and cosy. Julie's big breakfasts fill you up for the whole day and nothing is too much trouble. She has some lovely animals who are all friendly and love being fussed - you are welcome to help look after them all if you want to and I must say that this has been very therapeutic for me. I cannot praise Slow Sheep and Julie enough and if you want the perfect place to unwind, you have found it! Wouldn't hesitate to come here again, thank you x

SIMPLY THE BEST!

My wife and I booked 'Slow Sheep' because of its location in Foulden, the home of my Scottish ancestors. But after staying there, we'd return even if we weren't going to spend much time in Foulden. Julie's a great host, a wealth of local information, and a joy to spend time with. And 'Slow Sheep' is super-comfortable, very quiet, and in a beautiful location. Julie prepared huge breakfasts, served tea upon awakening in the morning, and gave us great travel advice. We'd love to return the next time we're in the UK.

Wonderful Introduction to the Scottish Borders

My husband and i stayed here we had such a fabulous time. Julie is such a lovely funny and kind lady.she treat us like one of the family. Her josting skills  go above and beyond what you expect. The room was amazing everything you needed and those little touches julie makes you the best host ive met.so peaceful and tranquil and i would definitely recommend julies bnb to all to visit. Oh and the highlight of the stay was little squirt and his amazing party tick just love it haven't stopped laughing yet.

Just perfect!! Lovely furniture, very comfy beds. Lovely host. What more could you ask for. Wonderful setting in beautiful countryside. Truly stunning. Like a home from or a refreshing and revitalising country break. With horses, sheep, dogs to be viewed if you like (which I loved)
Just brilliant. Great value too! Always recommend.

Will 100% be back loved it and the owner of the b&b is so helpful and the bed was lovely!!! A+++ could not fault this b&b and the breckfast was ace! See you again soon i will advice anyone to go there :D
