Everything about our short stay was exceptional. 
From the friendly welcome to the delightful design, quality of the venueand the food. 
It seemed like everything had been thought through, where nothing was left wanting.
Our only challenge is we hope the Old Church still has vacancies on our next visit!

If we ran a B&B this is how we would want to do it

Had 2 nights in Belford and decided to add an extra night on at this establishment in Horncliffe.As the name suggests it's a converted church and it is STUNNING!! The room was beautiful with the biggest bed I have ever seen. Everything was of excellent quality.
There is a lovely lounge area that visitors can use ( only 3 rooms ) with a huge selection of books, magazines and games. I can honestly say that I have never had a tastier breakfast anywhere in the UK. All food fresh and locally sourced.We were even encouraged to take away food for the day- fruit, cheese, crackers  !!
Our hosts were lovely and we felt very privileged to be allowed to share their beautiful home. Would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone- you will NOT be disappointed.

Wow, wow wow!!!

The Old Church is amazingly good in every respect. I stayed here for one night on a cycle trip. On arrival, Trevor helped me bring my bicycle inside, despite being wet and muddy. Then a very welcome pot of tea plus biscuits.

My room was very spacious with an equally spacious bathroom; with a roll top bath. Luxury! The attention to detail in the design of the room and and the soft furnishings is outstanding. Equally, the breakfast was a tour de force. It is served on the first floor with an amazing array of fruit, cereals etc as well as a good choice of hot food.

Probably the finest B+B I have ever stayed in. And I have stayed in a few!

A beautiful building with 5* facilities and service

We stayed three nights in order to attend a local wedding. This is a very attractive, homely B&B with first class accommodation. The robes and slippers were a particularly lovely touch. There was plenty of choice at breakfast including great freshly cooked dishes. The local pub serves good evening meals .

Luxury accommodation in a beautifully converted church.

Room was big and the bed really comfortable. Bathroom was massive and roll top bath made for a relaxing soak. Breakfast was best ever, local tasty products used and good size portions.
Relaxed atmosphere in beautiful renovated church. Couldn't fault or ask for anything more.


Superb property

Really lovely B&B  well furnished , good room, very comfortable bed all the little touches, dressing gowns slippers toiletries tea coffee etct excellent breakfast and friendly hosts..Its the second time we have stayed there ideal for visiting Lindisfarne plus lots of other places .

2day break

On our two-week motorcycle trip home to the Hebrides and through the Highlands we unfortunately only spent one night in this wonderful ambience with Trevor and Fiona! We were overwhelmed by the wonderful room with bathing suits and sneakers! Reception with coffee and fresh cake. This is as beautiful as we have ever been on our journeys! Breakfast left no wishes open and the hosts are very attentive and kind! Next to there is a pub with a good evening 👍the old church is an absolute highlight 👍

Cycling through Scotland

this is a fantastic place to stay such a beautiful old church  T REVOR and FIONA are superb hosts bedrooms are fantastic with large beds and wet room the breakfast is to die for AWESOME ,we be back soon

worth every penny

We had a 2 night stay here, the hosts could not have been more welcoming and nothing was too much trouble.

The room and facilities were excellent, if you like older buildings this is a peach. Many of the original features have been incorporated into the conversion.

A great place to stay if you are visiting Northumberland.

Perfect hosts and a great building.

This is a fantastic place to stay.  Its a converted church, which has been done thoughtfully and with great taste  - the rooms are fantastic and the breakfast, like the welcome, was wonderful.  We wouldn't hesitate to stay again.
