Me and my partner visited the b&b for a one night stay during August of 2020. We can not praise this place enough! The b&b is under new management and they were extremely welcoming and pleasant. The room itself was fantastic and the breakfast was lovely! This is my first ever review but I just had to leave one for this lovely couple. Highly recommended!

Highly Recommended!

My partner and I stayed in this guest house with out dog over New Years (2019/20). I think we must have been the only people there. 
The room was clean but the bed could really do with an upgrade. Did not feel sturdy, squeaked very loudly which kept waking our dog up and was fairly uncomfortable because of this. 
Otherwise, we had a wonderful stay, it has a great location and lovely views.

Lovely little guest house

The door key box is  on a wall which is not immediately obvious,in our case there was no key or code number inside .Fortunately we had a torch and telephone but fou
nd a flat tyre ,it was raining so hard that both us and all our baggage would have been soaked had we changed the wheel on the dark wet and busy A5 ,yes we did have a breakdown service but I was tired wet cold and old as well as being bloody irritable so bed was my prefered destination.Next a cheery Rhaiannon took over, conjured up a mecanic who fixed  the wheel problem and sent  us on our way without accepting payment.Thank you Joe  alas there are only a few left with such magnamanity . Excellent and varied breakfast,  for the time for a very long time I did an Oliver Twist!

Wet Wet Wet !

A lovely place to stay. Warm, clean and quiet. Good breakfast. Welcoming owners who spent time talking to us about the area. Situation is good - only a 2 minute walk into town. I thoroughly recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area. 

Wonderful guest house!

We stayed here with my 2 boys as a last minute booking.
The hotel phoned me earlier on my arrival day and asked what time we would be arriving. I confirmed in a couple of hours.
When we arrived no one was here and we had to phone and wait around 15 minutes for anyone to arrive.
We weren’t given any information regarding what time we check out or breakfast timings.
When we got settled into our room we noticed the TV was broken. As it was such a large break we (stupidly) assumed the hotel were aware of this.
The next morning we were offered breakfast in our room. I thought this was nice, given that we were travelling with a dog and the breakfast room was small.
At 10:30am we received a knock on our door to say we had 30minutes before we should vacate our room.
I have now received messages on email from the hotel that we broke the TV and should pay for this. So far they have quoted me £50 and £150...? Don’t understand the 2 different prices..
I also phoned them to say that this was nothing to do with us. I was then told by the owner that we took fu@&ing liability’s and then had the phone slammed down on me...!! She also said she had tried to call me all morning, I’ve had no missed calls..!
Absolutely shocking and totally unacceptable behavior. We were never asked about the broken TV just assumed we had broken it

DO NOT STAY HERE, VERY UNPROFESSIONAL

When we arrived our hosts were Lovely and showed us to our room, the room was spacious and very clean. The guest house is in a great location in the village and has free parking which is great. It has lovely views of the river and the garden is beautiful so we had our picnic in the garden gazebo. It was a short five minuet walk (if that) to the centre of the village. I would highly recommend this place! Owners couldn't do enough for us, even let us store our bikes in their locked garage which was a real bonus, thanks again will be booking again in August

Lovely Guest house

I planned an adventure weekend in Snowdonia and needed a B&B in Betws-y-coed for the night before. How lucky I was to come upon this delightful place. The house was charmingly full of character, the room and bathroom were clean and fresh and the lovely owners, who did everything they could to accommodate us, were so welcoming. The beds were comfy and the breakfast absolutely delicious. It was a five minute stroll from the centre of Betws-y-coed and had the added bonus of its own private parking which made the perfect start to the weekend. I feel very lucky to of found such a gem of a place and would happily recommend Dolgethin guesthouse.

A true gem of a place

We stayed here with our two children and another family. The new owners were so thoughtful, buying welcome treats for the children and stocking up on gluten free food for my breakfast. 

The rooms were clean and fresh and the beds were very comfortable. The house is a short walk from the centre of Betws-y-coed with a good range of shops, restaurants and pubs. It’s also by the river and there is a lovely walk.  

We would definitely stay again.

Great place and great hosts

Had a lovely stay here, the staff were so helpful and I could not fault the food!! The room was so clean and we had everything we needed. Will definitely be returning in the future, couldn’t be in a better location!
