Home from home

Booked here last minute and so glad we did! Sid and Marie were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble we had a lovely clean fresh room with a view so good we didn’t shut the curtains all weekend!! Breakfast choices were plentiful and very good. The house was the ideal location for us, 7 min walk to the village centre, peaceful in the evenings but not too far away from shops and restaurants.
Would highly recommend if you’re looking for something central to explore snowdonia national park 
We can’t wait to go back!!

Marie, Sid and Fred are so welcoming and will do anything to help. The breakfasts were lovely, room spotless, easy check in, plenty of parking and ideally located close to all the restaurants, shops, local attractions and with the beautiful forest all around you a truly relaxing place.

Lovely place to stay

From the moment you arrive, you feel at home. The rooms are lovely, the breakfast is fab and nothing is too much trouble. Less than a 10 minute walk into the village. 
We would highly recommend this brilliant place.
Also plenty of off road parking 

Really nice B&B. It is a short walk to restaurants for dinner, and really convenient to local attractions. The rooms are clean and very quiet. 
Check-in to the hotel is seamless. I really liked how your room number was used to identify your table at breakfast. Breakfast is really nice as the host takes the time to talk with each guest.

My wife and I returned for our eighth year (our 58 th Wedding Aniversary) and found that everything was ticking over as it should.
Marie and Sid couldn't do enough for us and Fred (the singing chef) was back in action cooking his mouth watering breakfasts. He had suffered for a few days with illness but his pupil Sid stepped in with out a faulth 
You can eat as much as you want with no quibble and the quality leaves you satisfied for the whole day. 
The rooms still get treated to de-covidize them and you can feel safe where ever you stay.
They have now torn down the old garage and built a plush Cottage if you should require self contained accomodation.
Marie christened this OSH (Our Second Home) and makes it feel like that every year.

All The Comforts

Stayed Friday to Monday clean room comfortable bed everything you could want. Breakfast was good. Lovely fruit salad to start and plentiful cooked breakfast. Parking was very good as property lays back from road most B and B were directly on road, 

Pleasant weekend

I travel from very far away (Belgium) to stay with Marie and Sid twice a year, two weeks in June and two weeks in September.  First of all because I love beautiful Wales and of course Glenwood feels like a second home to me.  I cannot thank enough both Marie, Sid and of course Fred who makes the best breakfast you ever tasted.
After so many years, it is the first time I write a review but I'm sure that if you ever travel to north Wales you will not find a better place to stay.

There is nothing better

Only 10 minute flat walk from village centre, good parking facilities, clean and well equipped rooms finished off with an excellent breakfast. Marie and Sid made us feel really welcome and we enjoyed staying with them, we would not hesitate to return.
