We had a lovely two night stay in Oakfield house. 

We climes Snowdon over the weekend and the location worked perfectly for us. 

The breakfast was tremendous and Jennet and Steve were both friendly people and fantastic hosts. 

We would highly recommend this as a place to stay and couldn’t have had a more pleasant experience. 

Lovely stay 

The most beautiful stay for our anniversary, hosts were fantastic, the room was spotless with lovely views and even better breakfast!!! 
Unbelievable location with gorgeous walk down the river to the local village for food and drinks. Perfect place to chill out and relax with amazing walks all around your location.  Will be staying again!! 

We loved it!

Comfortable, Clean & Friendly stay. Quiet place and if you are looking to catch up some good sleep this is the place. Excellent Communication by hosts (Jeanette and Steve) regarding check in and dietary requirements. 

I will definitely recommend staying at this place and I will definitely like to stay again here next time.

Excellent little b and b Jeanette was very welcoming and friendly room was spotless breakfast was lovely to nothing was to much trouble would definitely stay again, lovely little place with parking off the road and nice little village with plenty of walks

A home from home, best breakfast ever,  the breakfast food items were all locally obtained. Jeanette & Steve were so helpful. We will be back soon to enjoy your hospitality. Thank-you.  We went to Swallow falls which is five minutes from the B & B, We did the river walk, which was wonderful. 

A wonderful bed & breakfast experience.

We're not long back from our second stay at Oakfield and are so happy to see that Jeanette and Steve are maintaining the high standards they achieved before covid hit.
From our initial enquiry email to dragging ourselves away, they proved themselves exemplary hosts.  We were lucky enough to have the same excellent family room we had before - which is ideal if travelling with a child or a teen.The rooms consists of a double which has a door off into a small but very well kitted out single bedroom - with its own TV. the two rooms share a small bathroom with a corner shower (sliding doors , hip lip to enter). there are plenty of towels and generous amenities.
In the double bedroom there is a kettle with tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits.  Extra duvets etc are available but the old building - which has been very nicely refurbished and redecorated since our last visit ) is well insulated.  we were never cold - there is also a fan in the cupboard if needed.
Breakfasts by Steve are generous and varied - cooked options include full Welsh or smoked salmon with scrambled eggs  and there is also fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereals and toast to order.  
Oakfield is right at the end of the main drag in Betws so a taxi to the pubs / restaurants is an option for wet and windy nights - there is a bus stop. a few minutes walk away but the service isn't frequent.  Buses from Betws go straight to the jumping off point for the walking route up Snowdon just a few minutes walk from the embarking point for the Moutain Railway so with planning you can stay in Betws and make the ascent quite easily.
We love this warm (in all ways) and professionally run, excellent value BnB and look forward to our next visit. 

Note - the upstairs bedrooms are reached by a staircase so not suitable for wheelchair users - though guests with other access needs will find Jeanette goes out of her way to make everyone feel as welcome as possible.

The friendliest place in Betws-y-Coed

I stayed at Oakfield House for a few nights for some time away on a last minute trip. It was exactly what I needed. Perfect location to go and explore. My single room was perfect, comfy bed & clean and tidy! Lovely and more than accommodating owners. Even get a lovely breakfast included! Will definitely be returning!

Cute B&B in a perfect location!

We did a little road trip in Wales and this was the place we stayed on our last night and I wish we’d stayed here the whole time. Some of the other places we’d stayed looked a bit tired and grubby and like they’d had a quick bat round with a cloth but this place is absolutely spotlessly clean, I entered the room and all I could smell was freshly washed bedding. The toilet and shower cubicle were gleaming. Everywhere was, I was so impressed, this beautiful place is very well looked after. I had the best nights sleep and the breakfast was delicious.  I left my new phone charger and in the room and Jeanette very kindly posted it straight back to me. Thank you for a lovely stay Jeanette and Steve, we will definitely be back :)

Spotlessly clean and beautiful place.

Jeanette and Steve run the oldest B&B in Betws y coed. It’s a stand alone house in beautiful surrounds with ample off road parking with 6rooms available all en suite with Wi-Fi  TV  Tea and Coffee. 
 Steve’s the chef and serves up a lovely full English breakfast which can be enjoyed in their luxurious breakfast room which is adorned with art and pics of the locality.
Though NeitherSteve or Jeanette are locals they are both very knowledgeable of their surroundings.

Climbing Snowdon.

The most beautiful B&B, beautiful clean spacious rooms, its the little details that count, toiletries, vanity mirror, stool next to the main mirror to get ready in. All amenities in the room. Great breakfasts too with an outside area to eat on. The most beautiful lake across the road too.
