Absolute cracker of a pub old and new blended brilliantly, nice cobs for a bar snack. Busy and loud but in a good way, the local lads were really friendly and welcoming. Some really good and well kept beers, lagers and ciders. Nice clean and spacious rooms rounded of a great stay

Quick stop before taking kids to West midland.
Unfortunately our room was directly above the pub and noise was horrendous so my daughter was shattered the next day
My mistake shouldn't have booked here , more couples etc and would be good if in the pub till close then came to bed.
Very basic.
It isn't for families wish we'd gone elsewhere.

Gem of a pub this, first time visiting and will definitely be back. Fire lit, nice and cosy 
Madri was beautiful, staff and customer very polite and friendly. I would say this is the best pub in Bewdley, after visiting a few the same afternoon/evening

Fantastic

Doesn’t have a lot of street appeal but room was fine and the folks welcoming.  Fairly raucous crowd in the bar when we arrived watching football on the telly, but we were well away from the notice in the room on the top floor.  Good value for money and a good stop if passing through and you need a place to stay.

Absolutely fantastic, stayed here for one night and was really good value for money ,  rooms are lovely and spotless clean , pub is is fantastic and really friendly, would highly recommend it and can’t wait to return with friends , close to all amenities xx

Can’t wait to return

After an exhausting browse around this fabulous city's shopping centre, we made a visit to this much needed oasis. A sit down with a lovely pint of Banks's beer was very much appreciated. Our welcome at the bar was friendly with swift service with various wines available for my wife. We both ordered meals and watched Everton v Chelsea as we ate. Our meals were both good value well and delicious. This Marsdon pub is so convenient being close to the open air market and the main shopping area. Our little visit was all we needed to replenish ourselves for our Christmas journey.

So Convenient

Very comfortable beds, which were much needed after 24 hours travelling. Extremely amenable hosts. Great bar with friendly service and loads of super gins.

Highly recommend.

Excellent value for money

We went to Bewdley for weekend.and unfortunately had to leave our cottage because of blocked drains. We phoned the hotel and booked a family  and double. room. When we arrived I thought  I had made a bad choice, we had to walk through a predominantly male drinkers bar and had our young granddaughter with us. We were met by a lovely friendly lady who checked us in and showed us to our rooms, offering to help with luggage. I was very pleasantly surprised when shown the bedrooms. They were both beautiful,, immaculate and quiet, with everything you needed, we all had the best nights sleep. No noise from street or bar. We were also given keys for a side door and didn't have to go through the bar when leaving and coming back in. We didn't use the bar, only because we had a child with us and were out and about, on reflection we should have tried their gin and different ales and nice friendly atmosphere., All the staff we met were all very friendly. Defnately stay there again. We stayed in rooms 5 and 6.

Surprising Beautiful Bedroom

Very friendly welcome, kind offer of help with the bags, lovely clean room with much welcome fan and a window that opens.  Nicely decorated and had everything you could need.  One of the most comfortable beds - husband and I disagree on mattresses but we both slept soundly.  Could not hear any noise from the pub downstairs where we finished our evening off so knew it was busy.  Lovely soft towels, and bathroom had a range complimentary toiletries.  Only suggestion would be for a towel rail or hook in the bathroom.  We knew it was room only and this suits us, and they have now painted out the "and breakfast" from the wall outside, but agree the old images and old website can be confusing.  We will definitely be back, and this will be first choice for Bewdley - and after having a glimpse of room 6 through the open door may try and book that!
