I chanced upon this place Sunday lunchtime when I was looking for a bite to eat but although the fare was OK if a bit pricey the staff were not very attentive.   Ordered a coffee and bacon sandwich.  When the coffee came, there was no milk (as you would normally expect to get in any other cafe or coffee shop). I had to go back to the serving hatch to request some.  When the sandwich came, I wasn't asked whether I wanted sauce and again I had to specifically request this.   Finally, the staff seem to have very little local knowledge- maybe they weren't local-  and didn't know whether the road outside towards Bewdley river bridge was open for pedestrians (as it turned out it was).  The staff were quite busy but I don't think this is a valid excuse for the not very good service.

Coffe shop staff not very helpful

Slightly disappointed, great reviews really don't reflect the actual experience. Upgraded to a family room but couldn't use the bathroom on 1st day due to maintenance so had to use alternative facilities downstairs. VERY noisy location, woken very early by traffic noise that was exasibated by railway bridge echoes. The lightning in the room was very poor with no dressing/make-up area for my wife. The room was also dusty and the bathroom needs updating. The only redeeming thing was the breakfast and the staff.

Disappointed 

Called in for coffee and cake,but there's a great selection of sandwiches, cake, and cooked food, staff were lovely, very friendly, and the prices are very reasonable. Don't be afraid to ask for anything, they're happy to swap things around, they are also dog friendly. 

Great cafe

Excellent communication from Stacy before we arrived, easy location to find, parking in the railway station was very convenient, (just make sure you are parked up by 7:30pm £4)some street parking near by if you are lucky too. We had a lovely family room for me and my friend and 3 children. Plenty of room for all of us over 3 nights.

Sarah was so friendly over breakfast, breakfast was so tasty and plenty of choice for grownups and kids alike.

Perfect location for West Midlands attractions

The welcome here is beautiful, always a smile and a chat even though busy. The food was gorgeous and as I'm long time vegan it's important to me, they spent time looking up what was and wasn't vegan and I truly appreciated it . The bed was so comfy the room was clean and the location was exactly where I wanted right on a bus stop as I don't drive. If you're after high tech and all for show then go somewhere else. Severn Valley Guest House is friendly and clean and homely and you can relax and slow down and enjoy yourself. Love it. 

Fantastic place to stay in Wyre forest area.

My friend and I went this afternoon for lunch. The food was amazing as was the customer service. Highly recommend  the grilled halloumi rocket and sweet chilli grilled sandwich it was so tasty. Looking forward to going back next week to try their breakfast.

Amazing food

What a fantastic find! 
Myself, husband, son partner & their two children booked an overnight stay 09/09/22 following attending a wedding at Hopleys caravan & camping site. 
We had 2 rooms. Mine & husbands room fabulous. Bed was so comfortable. 
Ample tea & coffee. 
My son booked a family room again it was fabulous! 
Breakfast excellent 
Staff wonderful would highly recommend.

Wonderful B&B find in Bewdley

Lovely people serving the breakfast and it was a good breakfast, lovely little place to stay, parked at the steam railway station and a very short walk to the guest house, we stayed in room 7, not the biggest room we have stayed in but big enough for us, nice walk into Bewdley town in the evenings so ideal location for us

Great place to stay

Stay there quite regularly. Great chef, very flexible on timings. Special thanks to Lisa and her crew who went out of their way to return to me by post something I'd left and neded badly. Wouldn't take any payment for the postage. Lovely people.

Ecellent Service

what can I say about this place communication from booking to arrival outstanding 
they went out of the way for us providing an extra bed and cot for our baby we were in room 6 it was massive 
as it was my wife's birthday asked for a cake and flowers and there they were in the room waiting for us thankyou so much 
breakfast was 730 and was done to perfection 
everything was organised and clean and such a lovely place to stay 
downside no parking but this wasn't an issue as parked at severn railway £4 for overnight brilliant and was only 5 min walk
we will definitely stay again road noise didn't trouble us and the fan was great as was hot
