Beautiful house, such friendly kind hosts, luxury bedrooms with a very comfy bed. Served the most delicious breakfast in the morning in a cute bright breakfast room. All the small details are what makes this B&B stand out above the others I've stayed in. I'll definitely be recommending greenfields to friends and family and ill stay here again when I'm back down.

A perfect stay

We have stayed here twice for a weekend and Derek and Debbie are very welcoming. We have a dog and stayed in a section of the house with its own entrance, which was spacious and very convenient, with a fully equipped kitchen (which we only used to make tea in but you could prepare food if you wanted). There was tea, coffee and milk provided in the fridge and a complimentary bowl of fruit. The breakfasts are superb with lovely fresh fruit, yogurt, cereals and every kind of cooked breakfast. Derek and Debbie are very helpful giving advice on where to go etc. Although the house is on the coast   road it is well set back, so relatively quiet. You look out over the garden and green fields and it is delightful. 


Welcoming

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights earlier this month while we attended our nephews wedding. Debbie and Derek are so friendly we felt we’d known them for years. The room we had was small but ideal for our 2 night stay. The little touches like fresh flowers and fruit in the room were lovely. The breakfast was excellent. Great choice and freshly made when ordered. This is a little gem and would recommend to anyone wanting a place as a base to visit the area. Definitely be visiting the area again and staying at Greenfields.

LITTLE GEM

This has to be the best bed & breakfast we have ever stayed in. Just returned from a few days at Greenfields for our wedding anniversary and it was ideally situated for us to visit nearby places such as Clovelly, Port Isaac, and numerous other places. Debbie & Derek are such lovely hosts and we were made to feel very welcome and relaxed as soon as we arrived. We stayed in the suite which was an added bonus to us as it had everything you needed at your disposal. The whole place was spotlessly clean and the little touches such as fresh flowers and fruit were so lovely. Throughout our stay we felt that we had known them for years and would definitely be paying a return visit. The bed was very comfortable and the shower and other complimentary accessories were a very nice touch. The breakfasts every morning were far better than any hotel that we have stayed in over recent years and if there was a five star rating for a bed & breakfast then this place should get it without a doubt. Cannot recommend this place highly enough and can only say that you will not be disappointed. Thank you Debbie and Derek for a truly wonderful stay and not forgetting your lovely little dog Ellie. See you all again very soon.

excellent throughout

Derek and Debbie have really done an excellent job in the upkeep of Greenfields. 
The decorating everywhere is wonderful.  My wife and I stayed overnight with a view to buying what is a thriving business as Derek & Debbie are ready for the next step in their lives.
The caravan pitches are well laid out and away from the view of the house which affords both parties their own space.  
The static caravan is huge and is ready for a family wishing to get away from it all.  It is also on its own area with a private lawned area.
The annexe, or Suite is also really well thought out and has everything one might need for a longer term self catering stay.
Ample car parking and great access for touring caravans is available immediately off the main A39 with plenty of room to manoeuvre the unit from road to campsite.
For us, also looking at the ‘last move’ in our lives, the fact it is so close to the main road was really the only negative.  You can’t change that!  Nothing else needed changing.
The breakfast was brilliant, offering a wide choice of food from cooked full English with lovely crisp bacon and perfect poached eggs, to veggie and vegan alternatives.
Nothing was too much trouble for the hosts.

We just pulled off the road and stayed overnight and we were very impressed.  Our hosts, Debbie and Derrick were delightful and really looked after us with a fantastic breakfast.
