We unfortunately weren't able to make our trip to An Mor due to and unforseen circumstance involving a close family member in critical care. 
We were one day out from the cancellation policy being free. When I contact the hotel I was told by the receptionist there was nothing they could do due to the policy being in place. I understood and requested we move the dates as the circumstance we were in meant we couldn't attend this weekend. I was told this was not feasible 
I requested to speak to a manager to explain the situation and was told someone would ring me back. The whole day passed and next day I rang requesting to change the dates. Again I was given the same speech about the cancellation policy and again understood where the receptionist was coming from but I just wanted to move the dates. We were looking forward to attending the hotel but with our family member in critical care we couldn't leave for a weekend away. I asked to speak to a manager to be told, we don't know when they're next on shift! I asked if they could check the rota and was told that I would get a call back ASAP. We were not contacted. 
I messaged them to be told that they can't do anything even with the circumstance and that they will still be taking my £190 for the room. 

For someone already going through a horrific time they made the situation 10 times worse. I am an understanding person and get that there are policies in place but under certain circumstances that are unforseen you'd hope for some compassion and understanding. 
It's now being 48 hours without a call from a manager to discuss this situation and they have took my money.

Unhelpful and upsetting experience

no hard as rocks. the bed was very comfy and clean.
 what else oh the tea mug was cracked and the walk in shower had a 6inch and more lip on it  breakfast was a disaster. only cold drinks were milk water or apple juice. non of them were close to a chiller.. continental breakfast no meat cheese or breads. a joke. hot? food put out aut at 730am.only egg option was the scrambled? been there since 730am



lovely front of house staff.

I am a musician stayed at An Mor hotel after playing on their beach bar terrace which has a beautiful view overlooking the sea! 

The staff were friendly and accommodating and the room was really comfortable too. I’d definitely recommend staying here, especially if you enjoy a short walk to the beach and live music in the evenings!

It’s the nicest venue I’ve ever played at, and I’m grateful to have had the opportunity to stay here! Thank you 🙌🏼😊

Friendly staff and beautiful views - only a short walk from the beach 🌊☀️

A sleepless first night as the gloomy room vibrated and hummed loudly. Only one bedside table, no coffee table or bath mat. And this was a 'Superior room' at a 'superior' price. We complained and were moved to one of their 'best' rooms which had everything in it that ought to have been in the first 'superior' bedroom.  The best thing was the breakfast.

Disappointing.

Our check in time was 3pm. After driving over 300miles from East Kent we arrived at 2.50pm, they never checked if the room was ready they just said we had to wait 10 mins before they would check us in!
My brother & his wife were staying at a different hotel but met us at ours that evening & we bought us all drinks from the bar but when my brother went to buy a round they would not serve him because he wasn't a resident.
We had booked breakfast for 8.30am for our stay but on our departure day we arrived at 8.15am & they wouldn't let us in until 8.30 even though it is a self service buffet & there was plenty of room.
I have never known such unaccommodating,pedantic staff at a hotel!

awful. the poo bag bust when my mum was picking it up outside so she went to the toilet inside and washed up and put the poo in a near by bin but on exit a bar women said “ your bag of sh*t that you left is there waiting for you. “
My mum replied with im really sorry I didn’t mean to offend anyone I’ll take it now.” The woman then said “ it’s common courtesy to not leave your rubbish” even though my mum put it in A BIN!! my mum then said “ it’s common courtesy to say poo and not swear infront of a 4 year old, there was no need to speak to me like that.”  The bar women then gave a dirty look and walked off and all her friends/people she was with thought it was hilarious. disgusting behaviour from a staff member and we will not be visiting again! don’t go here if you have young children and you don’t want them picking up swear words from STAFF!!!

We enjoyed our stay over three days and the accommodation was excellent and the staff could be any better and very friendly. I would certainly be  coming back to stay 

I would fully recommend to stay in this hotel you will not be disappointed

Also the superior room which we stayed in was great and the views was great Over bude

ANMOR friendly  hotel

Have stayed many times. Always excellent. Would highly recommend. Very close to beach. Delicious breakfast. Friendly staff. Clean room. Perfect! We went as a family of three and used a two bedroom suite, which was ideal for having separation for sleeping as a family. Will be staying again real soon! Dan and Amy 

Perfect by the sea 

Lovely hotel with modern contemporary design. Room with sea view.  Coffee machine and kettle and mini fridge all well stocked  with bottled water supplied each day. The bed was so comfy .the staff were very helpful. Breakfast was well presented lovely choice of cereals and fruit seeds and bread. There was also cooked option.
Parking available outside hotel but first come first served. We have an electric car. The nearest EV charging point is in the town car park near tourist information . Cornwall has limited EV charging points.

I always review hotels from a disabled aspect as family member is disabled. And always find this information hard to find 

Small step up to main front door. Small lift servicing all floors. The shower in our room was a big step up no hand rails in shower or bath mat. 

This hotel was very comfortable and well positioned. And rate as excellent. Would definitely come again

Lovely traditional sea side hotel

We had a lovely stay at An Mor, the room was a good size, we had paid for the slightly larger room which overlooked the beach. Nice touch of a little box of shortbread in our room on arrival as well as the usual tea/coffee/biscuits. Fresh bottled water each day. Very comfy bed and pillows. The curtains could do with a bit of attention as they kept coming away from the runner but otherwise very nice. 
The corridors look a little old fashioned and perhaps could do with updating but don’t let this detract from your stay. 
It says that the breakfast is only continental but each morning there was a cooked breakfast as well which was buffet style (could maybe be a little hotter) and good choice of cereals/fruit/breads/yoghurts. On leaving we were given a little gift which again was a nice touch. For the price paid, it was a thoroughly enjoyable stay, we were made to feel very welcome and the staff were super friendly. Also the ability to park right outside was great, we would certainly return if we are in the area again.
