Our daughters wedding that was held at The Windmill Hotel on Saturday 19th September.
Initially the wedding was booked at a different venue and we were understandably devastated when that venue cancelled a week before the wedding! 
I sent an email out to local hotels and within minutes Joanna from The Windmill Hotel responded offering support and help through email responses. Joanna quickly arranged a meeting the same day and through her bubbly and cheerful positivity very quickly smoothed our anxieties and by the end of the day the wedding was all booked!
From that moment on every member of staff was amazing! Joanna supporting every aspect of planning the day! Erol, who looked after us throughout the day making our couple feel so special and instantly putting us at ease with his superb organisation, humour and cheerfulness.
In fact EVERY member of staff was lovely! Helpful, cheerful and keen to do everything possible to make our day perfect! Nothing was too much trouble!
The room was decorated beautifully with any detail we had mentioned put in place and was even cleared for us at the end of the day!
The restaurant looked after us in the evening and for breakfast the next day!
Honestly, I cannot praise everyone enough! We had a wonderful, wonderful day! 
Please could you pass on our huge thanks to the team at The Windmill Hotel, Coventry who turned a disaster into a dream for our Bride and Groom!

Wedding

We stayed here on 11th July as we were attending a wedding down the road at Stanley house.  We picked it as it was very close by and cheap!  I wasn't expecting much to be honest as it's a pub with the accomodation as an add on, but I was very pleasantly surprised as the room was very nice with a lovely bathroom, nice and modern.  Roof had a skylight which was nice tooasa it let a lot of natural light in.  Breakfast good also.  Only complaint was the bar itself wasn't very good on the day we arrived as they'd run out of most drinks, even coke was gone!  But for price we paid this was a nice stay and would recommend to others looking for budget accomodation in the area.

Nice stay

The Windmill is basically a food pub with rooms to let. Our room was very clean and with all you would expect, hair dryer, tea and coffee,  TV, Wifi, en suite, towels, toiletries.
There were no complaints at all.
If there was anything to criticise it would be that the establishment is a pub and therefore the room letting is secondary, there isn't a reception but it doesn't need one. The organisation is a little unsteady We booked and paid for breakfast but they weren't expecting us at breakfast time.
It's a case of whoever is around sorts things out but doesn't  pass on the info.
I would happily stay again if I was in the area. 
The breakfast was excellent.

Good clean rooms

Stayed here for working in Preston. Its dirty,damp and did not have the towels or the bed linen changed in a whole week we were there. Its a shame because the food was ok and the BAR staff were pleasant enough. The televisions in 2 of the 3 rooms i was in didnt work and neither did the bedside lamps.We didnt want luxury but i didnt want that.

never again

We stayed here as we were at a wedding just down the road. The food in the restaurant was freshly made and delicious and very reasonably priced. Our room was clean, tea making facilities were available and there were clean towels and toiletries in the bathroom. The breakfast the next morning was lovely and there was plenty of food and all the staff were very helpful. 
If you are expecting bathrobes and slippers then you would have to pay an extra £100 upwards for the privelige but if you want a clean room and comfortable room for the night with lovely food my husband and I would recommend.
