What a find a hidden gem in a sea full of hotels and b&bs after staying in a few in Blackpool I didn’t expect too much but what we got was simply amazing!! 

The gables was clean well kept comfortable and warm we had a massive 2 bedroom space and it was just what we needed the girls birthday treat was made extra special by such an amazing place to stay and the helpfulness of Dawn who helped us so much!! Thanks Dawn! 

Location was fab no matter where you needed to be easy reachable parking was on street and didn’t find it too difficult but when we did a very friendly local moved his car for us without us asking!

Diamond in the rough

The Gables is a lovely place to stay in Blackpool. The bed was really comfortable and I would come back for that alone! Clean and warm. Downstairs area is very attractive with sofas and table football. Top marks from
me (and I’m fussy!) and would definitely recommend.

Fantastic Hotel - cant recommend enough - clean tidy great facilities and central to pleasure beach and central pier ! coffee tea making in room and all bedding towels great quality. 
Fridge downstairs for all rooms , water machine and plenty of games to keep you occupied.

Had the pleasure of staying here this weekend, lovely hotel spotless great hosts, excellent location 15 minutes walk to both north and south shore, 3 minute walk to the beach, really nice rooms, definatly be staying here again me and my son loved it. 

Lovely place to stay

Dawn was a fantastic hostess, the whole hotel is clean and tidy and well set out. The rooms have tea and coffee and everything you need including towels. Most rooms have double beds and the noise levels are practically zero so you can get a good nights kip. The location is on the south side and very convenient for the sea front and the Blackpool FC.

well kept and clean,  lovely and modern décor. although they don't offer a cooked breakfast this did not change our view on this lovely little B & B , would definitely stay again and recommend .
close to central pier, yates and Wetherspoons are a 5 to 10 minute walk and the tower takes about 20 mins. tram stop is at the bottom of the road if you don't want to walk.
plenty of shops at the top of the road and a Tesco express along Lytham road.

We only stayed one night,we’re texted ask for requirements,asked for an eta on arrival,was there to greet….service fantastic,room’s spotless and clean,loved the take away continental breakfast included,an absolute must….we plan to return

Excellent service and up to date info

A beautiful, spotlessly clean, stylish B&B 3 minutes walk from the Promenade. Situated in St Chads Road, one of the nicer streets in Blackpool.
We booked direct, late evening on Tuesday, after walking out of our previously booked B&B.
Luckily for us, The Gables had a room. 
From the moment we arrived outside we knew it was going to be top notch. 
We received a very warm and friendly welcome from the owner (sorry I didn't get your name)
The decor and furnishings are modern and stylish.
We went to our room (number 1) and it was lovely. A double bed and a single. Clean, crisp white sheets.
It is a compact room, but suited us perfectly. There is a lovely en-suite shower, a flat screen TV (wall mounted) a small ironing board and an iron. Also has tea & coffee making facilities.
Downstairs is the dining room and lounge. Each room has its own mini fridge situated in the dining room. There, you will also find drinking glasses & cutlery for your use. 
Outside there is a lovely little patio area, facing the street, with tables and chairs.
Breakfast was a continental grab bag left on the counter which contained a croissant, jam, yogurt, breakfast bar, fruit and juice.
Everything is thought of here. It's just fabulous. 
All covid regulations are adhered to with sanitiser in the entrance hall. 
I also recommend you book direct to get a better deal.

Style and comfort

Stayed here for the night with my partner, his sister, her fiancé and their 2 daughters towards the end of October 2019. We arrived early as we were going to Blackpool pleasure beach we were lucky to get the last 2 spaces in a car park literally across the road which was convenient. We decided to check in at the B n B although we knew we wouldn’t be able to get into our room yet. It was towards the end of breakfast when we arrived but the busy host was welcoming and allowed us to leave our bags in one of our rooms as it was pretty much ready and allowed us to help ourselves to a cuppa and pastry from the breakfast bar! The place looked brand new and everywhere spotlessly clean. After being out we checked in properly our room was small but had everything we needed the only thing I did struggle with was our ensuite as this was tiny, I’m not biggest guy and I really did struggle in here although my spatial awareness isn’t the best. My partners sisters family room was a little bigger to also accommodate the sofa bed for the kids and this was already made up and ready when we checked in. Their bathroom was much larger and again both rooms spotless and we had a good nights peaceful sleep, I found our bed to be really comfortable. The price was really cheap and included breakfast the next day consisting of tea, coffee, juice, toast, yoghurt, fruit and pastries all help yourself in the breakfast room down stairs. I would definitely recommend.
