Parking advertised as included in the price. 15 mins before arrival told parking full. No chance to book at all. Host rude over the phone. Don’t waste time or money!! Awful!

Disgusting place

How do I even start? Steep stairs that caused issues with luggage, ripped wallpaper, dirty windowsills, out-dated furniture, funky room smell and a bathroom in a wardrobe on a step. Yes, a bathroom in a wardrobe. This “bathroom” did not have any proper doors but a wooden door with lined gaps which clearly doesn’t provide privacy to guests. It is literally the Hotel of Horrors. Although I have addressed many issues, booking.com still refers to it as being a “pleasant hotel.” DO NOT FALL FOR THIS BS. Get this place on 4 in a bed and you’ll see for yourself. Let me continue: a light switch that didn’t fill the entire room and marks let me not say ‘brown faeces marks’ that were on our “fresh laundry” said by the owner. It is understandable that the stains could have been still there after being washed but he should have checked before he placed it on the beds; nevertheless, we were given fresh towels. The floors were creaky and our upstairs neighbours clearly found this a joke, keeping us awake and unable to sleep despite quiet hours being between “11-7am.” The stay was the worst part of our entire girls holiday; however, I do have to commend our host who was kind and offered help when we needed it 
(but should do so with a smile:) )

Stayed here 22July 22 with my daughter and 14 month baby. Man was rude on arrival, was told there was a fan in the room which there wasnt. Sheets were stained, dirty marks on the wall. Bathroom is tiny, small sink couldnt even fill kettle from sink. Towels had stains. Bathroom door fell off and missed hitting my baby, told the man and no apology! Hes an ignorant horrible man. Parking cost £5 which I never bothered with and was lucky to park on the street as the parking was round the back and didnt look safe to park car there. Breakfast was non existant, dont be fooled by paying for breakfast! Avoid this place at all costs!!! Wouldnt let animals stay here!

Take payment then dont refund when cancelled,try to get money back is a joke.Dont answer emails or phone calls,when you do talk to someone the manager who deals with cancellations is never available!!!!!!!!!

Booked a superior room, was luck if it is a below standard room, had to choose if the extension was in for bedside lights or TV could not have both. Another extension disappeared into the wall so guess if we used it next door room would be in the dark. Shower room was very small and you needed to be a contourionist to sit on the low. Tried to put the TV in the residents lounge to watch rugby and was told off for turning on TV. Room said it had a hair dryer which we were given when we asked as owner had several stolen.
Not worth the £168. For two nigjts

I think this Hotel is awesome Kate does a wonderful job she is always around for for help I've visited The FairVeiw Hotel twice with my partner now and each time I loved it I'll be going bck again a 3rd time next year with my partner&Family well done kate thanks for the wonderful service and p.s for all those Bad Mouths I think yous need to think again Kate's Hotel is outstanding thanking you again kate see you soon :-)

AVOID AT ALL COST. KATE is a drunk. Banging on my hotel room at 4pm stinking of alcohol and telling me to leave. How is she even still open? Felt unsafe as I was the only one at the hotel. I rather sleep in the streets. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!

Booked to stay for 3 nights kate needs to call it a day she is a very rude abrupt woman & has loss all interest in being hospitable.At 63 i was asked to leave on the 2nd day because i could not eat the 2 eggs on my breakfast plate that were like those rubber ones u get in the joke shops around Blackpool . u order what u want for breakfast the nite be4 no problem she pulled a face wen i asked for poached eggs them said later to my husband couldn't i hav fried eggs lk every1 else & called me demanding im so rock & roll lol well my kids & granddaughter now think i am after being asked to leave . Cleanliness it might be vacuumed but clean i think not . Towels really old stained & ragged nobody goes in to empty bins at all during yor stay. Breakfast is half hr slot . Please if u want a nice place to stay Avoid at all costs. And kate get some customer relation skills this will help u to have a decent B&B .

Awful

Stayed for two nights on our annual Blackpool weekend with a few of our family. We found the hotel to be comfortable and clean The free parking was a bonus . Kate the landlady was very friendly, providing a lovely bottle of wine when she found out we were celebrating my sister in law birthday . We had a great time and I would like to thank Kate for making our stay very pleasurable. 

Lovely Hotel

We booked the Fairview Hotel as a last minute get away for the bank holiday, we arrived at this hotel on Sunday the 25th around 2pm, as I went inside to check-in I was greeted by an older lady who seemed very drunk and slurring her words, as I tried to check-in she kept asking me the same questions after showing her my booking confirmation she still kept saying she had no record of my booking and she hadn’t made a room up, I wasn’t going to stay here with my family and when I said I’m leaving she said “yes that’s what I want, use shouldn’t stay here”, I’m so glad the wave crest hotel had a room left and what a hotel that is, I wouldn’t let animals sleep in the fairview especially with an owner who likes to get drunk during the day the absolute mess!
