We booked months ago and they took money immediately then informed us they were going bust which we hope they are. Liars the lot of them. They then told us they had to cancel our booking. Still waiting on a refund months later. He pretends he's having a heart attack and is stressed while his wife is a less polite Basil Fawlty. Hope someone decent can take it over and change the name as it's reviews are so bad they will have to. If you're still booked here you have our condolences.

Utter con. Stay away!!!!!!!!!

Booked in on the 7th of august book the weekend on tripadvisor ..How the hotel has been aloud to advertise on this site is beyond me ..Got there to be told that there would be know breakfast in the morning ..Paid £80 for one night and when i got back home and checked my bank account they had taken another £22 out of my bank ...Phone the hotel up about a 100 times and was told my money would be back in my account with in a week ....That never happened and the business as gone bust now ...

The people that owned this place are con men and the police should arrest them

OMG! The hotel is terrible and the service...what service. We were given the room on the top floor with only one light bulb working, window handles broken, the sheets looked like they've never seen an iron in their life! We could not unlock our door and were stuck in the room until I've managed to unlock. In that time we have been shouting hoping someone will hear us, but with no luck. I even kept ringing the hotel and no one was picking up. After we got of that room I went to speak to the person who was working to be told no one could of heard us shouting anyway! I tried to look for another hotel but all were fully booked. We were given another room. Let's just say I did not sleep all night! There were 2 nails sticking out on the floor in the middle of the bathroom, the door was broken, the loose cables everywhere. Honestly, all I was thinking if there is a fire in this hotel we are trapped! After the sleepless night we left the hotel. And by the way they could not accept card payments and had to pay in cash! In return I was given a poxy receipt. Regarding the health and safety I am in the process reporting this hotel!

Worst place I have ever stayed

The day before our adventure I was checking our booking the hotels location etc and stumbled across reviews for our hotel... I admit I was slightly panicked as some reviews were awful. 
However, on arrival we were given a warm welcome and shown to our room - which was as requested a triple room a double and a single. 
After the reviews I'd read I checked everything and could not find fault - the bathroom was clean as were the towels and bedding. 
You won't get new premier inn white washed walls, this is a hotel with character admittedly in places a little dated but it is in a great location, cheap and was ideal for our family overnight stay. 
We booked through booking.com and the photos on there gave a realistic picture of where you would be staying. 


Oldy worldy

It was clean. Had tea and coffee facilities.  Had an en suite. Very small family room. Which was decorated nicely but very dated bedding and curtains. It is in desperate need of new beds. They are so uncomfortable and could feel the springs  And the tvs went out with the arc. Maybe a little cheap flat screen on the wall would be nice.. It is what it is... we paid £32 for 3 of us for the night and that's what we had. A cheap hotel. I think it could an amazing hotel if the work was put in to upgrade it. It needs a abit of money spent on it to bring it up to standard....  I can imagine it would get very noisy with stag parties in.... I hope they manage take bring this hotel upto something good. I would use it again. Especially if the beds were changed.
