Got caught short in a poor hotel and needed somewhere urgent. Came across this place and well glad we did. Craig and Lisa went above and beyond to help us last minute. Lovely appointment had all we needed.

Stayed her for 2 nights and I wanted to give a honest review as I have seen some hate on here location is amazing u are in the middle of everything craig and Lisa are really lovely I chatted with Lisa in great deal about my booking as I have a disabled child and it was never to much she answered every question I had and it never felt to much craig is a laugh 7 of us stayed in the ground floor apartment and it was so spacious as we need a lot of space it was very clean check out time was ten but we was 5 min late as my son was eating and we didn't get rushed out as much as we was rushing to get out we would defo reccomend the place to people and we are already planning our next trip back see you again soon

Not what I expected for price we’d paid complaints to on the beach didn’t help one but took nearly two months for reply won’t use them ever ever again ………..

Blue sea los fiscos

We came away for 5 days as a family with 4 kids this was the perfect place to stay! Location is perfect in the middle of everything and right opposite the beach! Lisa and Craig where the perfect hosts made us feel so welcome nothing was to much trouble. The apartment had everything you needed and was brilliantly clean we look forward to revisiting again!

upon entering the property you are immediately overcome with the smell of dog which is unpleasant .When first arriving to be booked in (when owner eventually answered door) we were asked how we were going to pay as cash was preferred due to card machine "playing up" and showed to our room where the owner waited to be paid .After we paid and the owner left we got chance to look around the room and found it not to be clean . There was a half full glass of an unknown liquid in the cupboard, half empty cans  and half eaten food items as well which should not have been there , cups and plates in the cupboard also had food stains on them and the cupboard door fronts and worktops had not been cleaned either .Some pots and pans had rust on them and were not fit for purpose and when the fridge was pulled from under the counter to check it was switched on there was filth everywhere it obviously had not been cleaned for a long while .After finding the half full glass and other items we took them to the owner and asked for something to clean up with , we were given a bottle of cleaner and a few wipes and a tea towel there was no offer of him coming to do it himself so we were left to do it ourselves. the toilet had not been cleaned very well either as there were dust and hairs on the back of it and the double bed was in fact 2 singles pushed together with a sponge topper across them.
 the pictures of this room were nice but it was let down by a poor standard of cleanliness and we would not have stopped here if it wasn't for the fact we already paid upon arrival and so we cleaned the room ourselves so be warned check the room is up to your expectations before paying

We have just got back after a 2 night family stay.
Excellent location with everything right on the doorstep.
Lisa & Craig are brilliant hosts.
We stayed in the family budget room but there was nothing budget about the room.
The two double beds are super comfy, my little girl loved the big bed all to herself plus her very own shower and toilet.
Night time was quiet.
We will definitely be coming here again.

Fantastic

We had a 3 bedroom apartment booked for 3 families, however, when one of our party arrived at the apartment it turned out that the apartment was in fact a 2 bedroom apartment with additional bedding in the communal living room. This is not what sold to us or appropriate for children. We were offered a full refund (this was obviously a common experience). We managed to find another hotel and were told the refund would be paid back to my credit card. After several messages and weeks later we have still not received the refund so we are letting the credit card company deal with this.

It should be noted that the owner promised to refund us if we didn’t leave a bad review on Tripadvisor. Well we didn’t get the refund and we do get a true and reflective review!

Where to begin…

We arrived at the apartments and the stay seemed to get off to a great start. How wrong this would turn out to be. 

The card machine wasn’t working so the payment wasn’t taken. We agreed to pay later in cash. 

Not soon after we arrived in the apartment the male owner knocked on our door asking us to move our car. We explained we were leaving within the next ten minutes to go for a meal. He had no problem with this. 

We arrived back at the apartments just before some other customers. We were parked in the last spot. female owner asked if we could move our car closer to the wall. I explained that if I did this we would not be able to get in and out of the car. So she said park behind mine which she said she never uses. I pointed out that if I parked here then I would be partly parked on the pavement and would get fined. 

Eventually she told me to park next door. Which I did. I parked as close to the wall I could. She said can I move it closer to the wall. I explained I can’t as there is a mound of sand. We asked if when we come back if we could park next door, she said no problem. I would also like to note she parked the other guests in the exact same spot I was parked in before she asked me to move. Also, there was 50 mph winds and torrential rain. 

We headed back to our room. Which wasn’t fantastic. We weren’t able to turn the heating up and there was a damp smell. None of the lights really worked and there were no batteries in the remote. Very dated. But what else could you expect in Blackpool. 

30 minutes later, yet another knock at the door. The male owner asking us to move the car again. You would think I was driving a bus. In fact I was driving a corsa! This time we questioned him, we explained his wife had told us to park there. He didn’t like this! He became very aggressive very quickly. He began shouting at us, which in fact scared us. We said that’s it we are leaving. We are not putting up with this abuse. As he was walking off he said ‘learn how to f*cking park you stupid sl*g. 

We left straight away and drove away. As we were driving they tried to take the payment! Fraud? Maybe. 

We headed to the centre of Blackpool. Once we had parked up and settled our nerves. We had a look on booking.com to see if there is Anywhere else we could stay. Much to our surprise they hotel had put the exact room we had been in back up for rent. 

Fast forward to today. I had emailed booking.com explaining what had happened and how we don’t want this to happen to any other customers. I rang booking.com and they explained the email I sent had been forwarded to the hotel. The hotel denied that we ever checked in to the hotel. Wow. I must have imagined this past weekend then?! (I have attached proof that were in fact in the apartments). 

Booking.com can’t take this case any further as there is no proof of the verbal abuse. But I don’t want this to happen to anyone else. 

Please please do not book a stay here. 

For all we know the male owner has verbally abused people before. Then denied that the guests had ever checked in!

DO NOT STAY HERE

6 of us Stayed for the weekend in the 3 bedroomed apartment(Room 6). Absolutely spot on. Worse thing I can say is that it could do with updating slightly but advised by owner that was the next room in the plans. Met at the door by owner, very welcoming and the room had everything we needed. Clean, Tidy, plenty of room for all 6 of us. Shame the town doesn’t match anymore, was like a ghost town unfortunately and very little open. Would definitely recommend and stay again when ever we go to Blackpool.

Have to say it was a wonderful experience. Lisa and Craig were extremely welcoming, warm and genuinely keen to ensure our stay was a great one.

They could not do enough for us, treated us like family.

Great location, great panoramic views from the rooms, and great value for money! Cannot recommend this place enough!

Next time you are looking for a Blackpool stay, you’d be mad not to consider here.
