Absolutely wonderful stay, owners were both so wonderful. Me and my partner stayed with our dog and not only were we made to feel at home so was Alice. Hotel is in a fantastic location right on the beach front and near all the sites you wish to see. Hotel was comfortable and warm and we’re given an extra heater for our stay so if we or Alice got cold we could stick it on. Couldn’t find a fault at all for our stay and we hope to be back next year with Alice. Thank you again. Carrie, Marcus and Alice. 

Wonderful stay

We came for the weekend 1st to 3rd September. And all I can say brilliant, the hotel is old fashioned. Reminded me of my grandads home who passed recently. But absolutely lovely. The owner John was so lovely, enjoyed our long chats on the front, he was brilliant with my children, they loved him. I would deffo come again. Didn’t wanna leave today if I’m honest. 

There were loads of stairs to our room, which were a killer and the room was very hot but it’s expected and fun for kids 😂 

If you want somewhere nice, quiet and not picky this is the hotel for you. 
It’s clean, warm and a roof over your head for a weekend.

Stayed at The Cowley Hotel for ine night, John the owner was really pleasant and very accommodating. We stayed in room 12 which was very nice, beds comfortable and very clean, pet friendly, overall had a comfortable quiet night, would definitely go back.

Good value accommodation

While the owner was lovely same can’t be said of the room 
,booking said we were allocated a deluxe room sorry but if that was a deluxe room we would have hated to see a basic one
Cobwebs hanging from the ceiling and on window  sill which had obviously been there for a while, curtains hanging of rails, wallpaper coming off walls and ceiling in bathroom ,mould round base of shower and the toilet brush and holder should be carrying a health hazard sign.
Car park was round back of building which looked like a dumping ground 
Certainly would not stay there again

Deluxe room ,What deluxe room

We had made a booking on booking.com and had been confirmed a few weeks ago. Last night, late, we had a phone call from the manager to tell us that our booking had to be cancelled due to not accepting group bookings as we were young couples and the hotel was more of an “older” scene. This has really disrupted our plans and left us with limited options. The booking should not of been confirmed to avoid disappointment and disruption. Young farmers “food producers” aren’t welcome.

Had a lovely stay with the family, nice fresh clean room & linens, clean shower, clean toilets just what you want when booking a room for the night or 2 in Blackpool. 
When leaving we’ve packed up and left and arrived back in Liverpool 2 hours later only to realise my daughter had left her Nintendo Switch in the room we had stayed in- we all panicked as you do thinking we’re never going to get it back and after speaking to John the owner, he was out at the time and explained he would have a look when he got back- he rang me back within a hour and said he had it to not worry he will post it… Sent over my address etc and hears a knock on my door about 1 hour after speaking with John. It was only him, he brought it to us as he wanted to know it got here safe. Now if that’s not an amazing, genuine & kind hearted person which is quite rare to come by these days, then I don’t know what is!! Thank you so much for an amazing stay topped off by your kindness! We’ll be sure to be booking again that’s for sure 😁😁😁😁❤️❤️❤️❤️

dirty shower black mold shower head degusting room single with double bed and drawers that's it ceiling cracked paper coming off the walls and ceiling no room for walking round bedroom couldn't even use the lounge area as it locked off beware do not go

Great B&B clean and tidy with all the amenities that you need. Great host John. Very polite and helpful. Pleasure meeting him. Will book again !! Great sea view and parking at the rear. What more could you ask for??
