This family run guest house Chris and heather you are our heroes you saved our weekend. Your friendly very inviting personality are brilliant just like your guesthouse clean bright rooms with all mod cons, enjoyed few drinks in your bar before heading out and amazing breakfast to see us off for the day. I would recommend your place to everyone your close to the beach and all attractions..forgot to take pictures sorry I was so happy to be in a safe clean room after what happened to us over the road 

Best kepted secret 

I stayed here this weekend, went to Blackpool with friends. It was a lovely, warm and friendly place to stay. Such a lovely and kind couple, they that made us all feel welcome. Nothing too much trouble for us all. Breakfast was delicious and very filling. Beds comfy and rooms warm. 
I would recommend to stay here. 

Lovely, comfortable and friendly 

We were staying with a family of 3 in Oxford for a few nights. I was delighted to find a place (a 2-bedroom apartment) available and not very far from the main street heading to Oxford downtown and University. I did not expect a so luxurious and accommodating place, decorated with taste and with so many nice features, including three big flat screen TVs (in the bedrooms and living room), air conditioning in all rooms (although not that useful in late September). I definitely recommend this place that merits a five plus stars. The place which houses 7 apartments has also a dedicated gated parking with charging post for electric cars. Beechwood house is absolutely a place to consider when visiting Oxford.  

Wonderful place to stay in Oxford

Although the rooms are of a good size, it is clear they and the rest of the hotel need some time and money spent on them. The gents toilet in the bar area is in a disgusting state, trash bins in the bedrooms are rusty and the wooden window frame in our room was rotten. 
If they bother to reply and say we should have informed them about the problems so that they could address them  they should bear in mind that they had just had 4 months to make sure the hotel was ready to trade, and I would imagine a nice grant from the government to help pay towards the cost.
I would not use this hotel again.

In need of some TLC

Me and my partner Karen visited on the 26th and 27th of October 2019. As always friendly hosts Chris and Heather, great breakfast, nice room, I would recommend the Beechwood to anyone. Close to Blackpool Central 👍

2 day break 

Just returned from another great stay at The Beechwood. We stayed BB&EM and all the meals were delicious as always. Truly home from home and we will be returning again next year. Would definitely recommend.

Another brilliant stay.

Just spent 10 nights at The Beechwood. You couldn't ask for better hosts than Chris & Heather. They are both friendly and make you welcome as soon as you arrive with a hot drink and biscuits. Perfect after a long and tiring journey. Full English breakfast is cooked to perfection by Heather and served by Chris. I stayed in Room 10 which is smaller than the other rooms, but has a good shower! If you stay here at Christmas time I highly recommend the mince pies which are home made by Heather (lovely).

Had a fantastic stay. Chris and heather will do anything for the guest . always at hand .. rooms was comfortable and onsuite . The breakfast was fab aswell   cant wait till we all stay again . Will be booking very soon xx 

Holiday

Have recently returned from a wonderful four night stay at the Beechwood Guesthouse. Chris and Heather are wonderful hosts and you really feel like part of their family! Would recommend to all my friends and family.

Home from Home

3rd time here. Yet again another welcoming visit! Wouldn’t stay anywhere else. Even booked for May next year before we left! 😊 could even be 2 visits in 2019 for us .. highly recommended. See you next year! 😃
