Lovely bed & breakfast.
Great hosts
Great breakfast, very generous. 
Very clean and tidy. 
Location brilliant 1min from sea front and not far from south shore. 
We visiting as a family of 3, room was big enough with double and single beds. A large wardrobe, chest of drawers. En suite.
TV in room and tea and coffee facilities. We did not get a great veiw from room but did not faze us as we were out exploring.

Bed & breakfast

We stayed here for one night as a family with a 2.5 year old, and it was lovely! We arrived 4 hours earlier than we had advised the owners of and they were amazingly accommodating! They told us our room was ready immediately so we could put our belongings straight in the room, our little boy then took a shine to their fruit bowl and Beverley kindly peeled him an orange for him to take out. It is a short walk to both North and South piers, so great location. The rooms are lovely and clean, and we felt really at home at the Highbury. The next morning Boyd and Beverley served us our breakfast which was delicious (plus they had noted the fact that two of our family are allergic to egg so had made sure eggs were kept well away from their plates) with tea/coffee and fresh orange juice. We unfortunately had to leave the hotel earlier than we expected that morning as our little boy came down poorly and he just wanted to be home. The owners could not have done more for us, they are very lovely people and truly interested in you having the best Blackpool experience. Would definitely stay here again should we decide to overnight in Blackpool.

Friendly welcome

Myself and 2 friends stayed at the Highbury hotel for 2 nights. We were given a warm welcome on arrival and shown to our room. The room was spotless and had everything we could ask for during our stay including towels, a TV, WiFi and coffee/tea making facilities. Each morning Beverley cooked a lovely breakfast which was included in our stay... She catered to all needs and they also provided cold foods such as fruit and cereals. The hosts were both very friendly and easy to talk to, making sure that they did everything they could to ensure we had a pleasant stay. They even let us leave our bags at the hotel as we had an afternoon coach. 

Thanks for everything! We hope to be back soon!

Fantastic hosts and lovely hotel.

I've often found myself in hotels in the last few years and, more often than not, the whitewashed anonymous kind. I'd forgotten how much I like the warm service and friendly familiarity that comes from the traditional Bed and Breakfast. Highbury certainly delivers on that.

Blackpool has, sadly, become better known for the tack that invades it's golden mile, so when I looked at budget hotels, many looked like they they were cheap and cheerful in the same way as the luminous pink hen parties in Wetherspoons, so we were pleased to find this one that looked like a nice, family run B&B, centrally placed and at a decent price.

We were not disappointed. Despite being less than a minute's walk from beach, it's set back enough that you are not disturbed by the traffic. There's on street parking for one lucky guest only, so make sure you ask in advance (it's not their fault, it's all the Council will allow) but they can direct you to some over-demanded free spaces and paid alternatives.
We are vegetarian and they provided a good sized veggie breakfast, which was a perfect portion size, as well as cereal and fruit etc.
The hosts are warm, friendly and approachable people who make conversation, but also know when to step back and let you get on with your break.

So, good British B&B charm in terms of facilities and hosts, good English breakfast, great location and great prices. You can't really ask for much more.

A lovely, calm, proper B&B

Such a wonderful place to stay if you're in Blackpool. Beverly and Boyd are such lovely, welcoming hosts who could not do enough to ensure our stay was perfect. The rooms were warm, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious with plenty on offer. The hotel itself is minutes from the beach, and within walking distance of the main attractions (and very close to a tram stop for those who don't like to walk) . I couldn't recommend a place more, and I'm already looking forward to returning on our next trip to Blackpool.

A wonderful and warm, home away from home

Honestly never felt more comfortable staying in a hotel. The couple who run it are so lovely and cannot do enough for you. The rooms are lovely, clean, and cosy. The hotel is in a great location. Breakfast was really good, they even went out to get vegetarian sausages for me and my friend. Will be definitely staying there for my future visits to Blackpool it was an pleasure.

Clean B&B, nice breakfast, just what you need when spending the day in the pleasure beach! There was an issue with the booking on our part but the owners were very accommodating and went above and beyond for us! Thank you!

Beverley is an amazing woman that goes beyond to make sure that your stay is the best. She even helped my mother and sister find a hotel a couple of doors away. The rooms were comfy and really clean. And I would highly recommend this hotel. Lively people and a lovely hotel. Thank you

Lovely couple how runs the place. Nice room. Very clean and fresh room. Tv in room and tea and coffee in room. Good location near the beach. Good breakfast. Very nice place to stay and a very reasonable rate. We shall be visiting again soon. 
Was a little cold in the room but when we asked about the radiators it was found that the thermostat wasn’t quiet turned up enough so the lady turned it up and within minutes the room started to warm up. 
Cannot fault the place. Very nice.
