Hi my wife an I have stayed here many times. I love the location nice and quiet,close to the tram bus stop, and the train station is in the next street, so very handy for day trips.Has a lift to all floors and a lovely bar to watch the footy also has a pool table. You are  2 mins from the pleasure beach chippys pizza hut italians,chinese takaway 2 streets away, best of all free parking on and off site cars are safe. We will be back all going well next month. I cannot fault this hotel in any way best in town cheers and thanks again for a lovely stay.

Perfect for Couples and children,friendly,Spotless,Fantastic Breakfast.

Me and my daughter stayed for two nights last weekend because we had tickets to see the ken webster hypnotist show at the pleasurebeach. We found that on arrival, the owners to be very friendly and helpful, and the room clean and well equipped which was pefect for the great price we paid. Wecwere also able to park the car right outside in their free carpark. We slept well both nights. We would definitely recommend this hotel 😊

Blackpools wee gem

The good thing about this hotel is the price and there is a reason for that. Uncomfortable beds, cold showers, out dated decor and a fair walk to everything.

The bar is cheap and quiet at the moment however.... The hotel did not offer food and was told we could order in and eat there in the bar, once ordered the lady behind the bar said she did not like the smell of a Chinese so we had to eat it in our room 5 people bunched together in one small room to eat. We were also told after ordering that we had to sort our own knives, forks and plates even though they have a dining room. We think it's because we had children and the women wanted to watch Britain's got talent in the bar on her own when we came back for drinks after our meal and you could tell we were annoying her with our presence, felt as uncomfortable as the beds and drank elsewhere.

Okay at best

We had a very exceptional special weekend break with lovely friendly staff and room was excellent and cleaned every day even though we were just there for weekend I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. Peter and Helen Wright

Weekend break

We like to stay on the south shore when we visit Blackpool because you are away from the hustle and bustle at night and there are always plenty of parking opportunities. This one had free parking right outside the door which pleased us. The staff were great, they let us check in at 10am and even offered to open the bar for us if we wanted. We didnt eat there so cant comment on that but went back for late drinks as we had teenage sons with us. They enjoyed the pool table as we had one or two late drinks until 23.45 when last orders were called. Would stay there again

Decent hotel, great cheap bar and friendly staff

Typical Blackpool hotel, a little dated but it was very clean and tidy. Location was superb for Pleasure Beach and South Pier. The team had cracking time and the adults enjoyed the bar and it was a bonus to have sky tv in bar  for football. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. Come to Blackpool every year for kids football tournament and was another good stay. No problems at all with this hotel. Cheers

Great weekend stay

Went here for two days and two nights. Staff very rude. Bar was closed at evenings. We were full board and you had go to another hotel called The Stuart to have your evening meal. The meals were all frozen food and meat was processed. The rooms are old and tiny. Would not stay here again 

Crap

For the second year in a row we've just returned from a 2 night stay at the Delton Hotel for Blackpool Pleasure Beach's "Vampire Beach" weekend. I have no hesitation in saying I will happily return again next year for a 3rd stay.

Hotel is perfectly located for the Pleasure Beach (would have been even more so if the park hadn't closed off their South Entrance, but that's another story).

As the kids were spending the Friday at Sandcastle we were allowed to park up at the hotel at about 8:30 and then return to the hotel in the afternoon to check-in which was a really good touch from the owners. There are plenty parking spaces here too.

Room, whilst a little old fashioned decor wise, was spotlessly clean and warm too - a real plus given the frosty temperatures this weekend. If I could level one criticism at it it would have to be how soft the bed in the room was. Think our mattress (Room 15) might have reached the end of its life. 

That's really the only thing stopping me from giving me the hotel a 5. If Tripadvisor let you give 4.5 then that's what this would be.

Away from the room there is a spacious, clean and well stocked bar which also has a pool table. We didn't have breakfast but if it tasted as good as it smelled when we walked past in the morning I am sure I would be raving about that too.

All in all the 6 of us were very happy with our stay and look forward to coming back again next year.
