We have just had a 2 night half term stay at The Fame Hotel to see the illuminations.
 
After our 3 1/2 hour drive up, the owners greeted us with warm smiles & were very friendly, & although we arrived in the morning around 10:45am (as we had booked the water park to start off our trip)  the owners were lovely & allowed us to park on their frontage, even though we were there hours before the 3pm check-in, which was so kind of them. 
This saved us the time & trouble of driving down, searching & paying for a parking spot. 

The hotel is in a perfect spot, over the road from the beach, halfway between the Tower & the Pleasure Beach fair and there is a tram stop just across the road from it.

The hotel is spotlessly clean. 
Although the rooms we booked were small & basic, they were great for what we had paid. They were both warm & very clean, what more do you need for a 2 night sleep? 

The full English breakfast was good and set us up for the day. 

What fascinated our 6 yr old grandson most, was that we went to bed with Halloween & we woke up to Christmas, he loved it!!! 

Two  small suggestions though....
1. Would be wifi -  to get with the times, this needs upgrading, as none us could connect to the wifi during the whole of our stay at all.
2. Would be to have hooks on the back of the door or somewhere, to hang up our wet coats, as we didn't want to hang them in the wardrobes with our dry clothing.
Other than these two tiny things, we had a lovely stay. 

We would definitely return & would recommend it if you want a proper Blackpool stay.

Proper Blackpool Stay!

What a find
We have family and stayed in many of the hotels n B&B over the years
This was by far the best experience we have had with easy parking, great location, good price and lovely breakfast
The room was small but spotless and functional with a great sea view and at only £90 for the night at short notice with breakfast I thought great value too

Great find

Stayed here for just one night as a last minute trip to enjoy the September sunshine. We were expecting just somewhere basic to lay our heads but what we got was an absolutely cracking hotel! Our room overlooked the prom, was spotlessly clean and roomy with lovely crisp bedding and a comfy bed. We opted to have our breakfast at the hotel too and that was freshly cooked and tasty. The owners of the hotel are what make it, so friendly and welcoming with nothing being too much trouble. I’d definitely check availability at The Fame first for any future overnight stays in Blackpool. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Gem of a hotel

Lovley Hotel and lovley hosts Tina and Evan make you feel really welcome.the bedroom was beautiful with tea and coffee facilities and the comfiest bed I've stayed in whilst away....spotlessly clean throughout the hotel and breakfast was delicious 😋 and thanks too Evan and his son in law for fixing my car..Will DEFINITELY be going back x

Lovley weekend break

Value for money. Room very clean had everything I needed, on sea front with great location to pleasure beach. I slept like a baby. Tea/coffee in room plus towels.  No toiletries provided but I didn’t expect there to be. If I had to say anything negative, I wish the plug socket had a usb connection so I could have charged my phone easily. Parking is limited but I had no issues parking. Hosts were very friendly and said if I need anything just ask.

Value for money-  B&B Blackpool

Hello just back yesterday, got to room sea view but very compact for a double, bed was comfy shower was adequate, onto breakfast we got breakfast already plated it was Luke warm on both days pre cooked, and also a hotel dog wondering around breakfast room and sitting at tables wouldn’t say very hygienic, host wasn’t bothered but felt uncomfortable with a dog watching us eat. 

Weekend away 

Evan and Tina are the most genuine hosts anyone could wish to meet. Nothing is too much trouble. The rooms were extremely clean, lovely cosy and warm. Would highly recommend the breakfast aswell. Cooked fresh to order.

Excellent break

Our second time stopping here and it’s fantastic.. can’t fault the place.  Superb location, fantastic hosts and lovely clean comfortable rooms 

Evan and Tina are made for this industry. They are so welcoming and helpful. Nothing is a problem for them. 

The bar is a lovely comfortable place to have a few drinks and having a chat with Evan.

Will be back next year for a week!!!

First time we've been here and it won't be the last,Evan & Tina are such a welcoming couple nothing too much trouble,place is spotless,comfy bed & room met all our needs great bfst & bar, Bella's gr8.

Annual Dudley break

We stayed with Evan & Tina at Hotel Fame in July i cannot recommend our hosts enough, very welcoming our room was clean, tidy and  spacious .
We never asked for anything as everything we needed was there  and Evan was always asking if there was anything else we required.
We will be back to stay at Hotel Fame as soon as we can
