Not sure where to start on this, never got round to leaving a review last time as I had to dash outside for some fresh air, this "hotel" is more like a family house, animals, kids running all over the place
The place smelt of damp and dogs
The bed linen had seen better days, we left, this play isn't like it's advertised, I'd rather sleep on the beach than stay here 
Major improvements required
If you like bad smells, pissy smells, strangers kids jumping all over the place like it's a soft play area then feel free to go 
Owners are pleasant enough just not very tidy

What a dump

Myself my partner and her daughter booked a 5night stay in Blackpool and opted to stay at the world hotel due to the low rates and location. Upon arrival it was clear that the place was a lot more run down than it appears on booking.com pictures. I soon realized that the majority of the family were living inside the property and that there was also another family living on the second floor with children. The "family room" that was advertised as a world themed room was nothing more than a crappy bed and a discolored kettle. The bathroom door was broken and the taps were as stiff as bricks, the hole building smelt of sweat . No breakfast was provided and the towels we were given were tattered. I highly recommend never staying here because I can promise that it is nothing close or even similar to any hotel or b&b I've ever come across . I can only describe it as a hostel \ shared house . It was that bad that I had to confront the owner and  it was plane to see that he didn't like hearing the truth. We got our last 2nights refunded and actually left the hotel to go to another something that nobody wants whilst trying to relax whilst in your travels. If you do decide to book expect the room on the top floor with no nets on the dirty Windows. The owners have a cheek to advertise this place as a b&b . There is no lounge area because it is currently there family living room.

No go zone for anybody and everybody.

Myself & my partner stayed here. The staff were welcoming from the moment we arrived. We've stayed in room 5 & 15 & both were clean, bedding was clean etc.
We would definitely stay again, these people really are genuine.

Friendly & welcoming!

On arrival the hotel looked nothing liked the pictures advertised it is a lot more out dated and scruffy looking. Seemed like the whole family lived there and felt as though we was staying in someone else's house rather than a b&b. The place smelt dreadful and dirty, the room itself was unsafe as the toilet seat fell off the tap twisted around and the curtains fell down. 
Turning the light off in the bathroom would cause a loud noise like a fan trapped on something. All night this was going along with banging outside the room.
Room was defiantly not cleaned to a good standard and many times was getting bit by something in the beds. We did not pull the owners on This as we didn't want are stay to be any worse. This hotel should be shut down it was that bad we had to laugh or we would go mad.

Worst hotel.

We stayed in this 'hotel' for a week! Enticed by the low cost we arrived and were given one of the themed rooms! Apparently each room is themed on a different country. I believe we were in the purple nightmare room. My partner went to open the window to get rid of the unusual smell and the entire window frame came loose! One afternoon we decided to try out the lounge and were half way through a football match when the sky tv menu came on. Turns out the owners link their sky tv to the main bar. The most traumatic moment was when we returned one evening to the landlady legs akimbo in a dressing gown sat on the front entrance having a cig...! The owners were nice enough but seriously this place needs an overhaul! Thankfully we didn't opt for the breakfast. Location wise this place is ideal as it's away from the hustle of the main town. Never again.

Avoid at all costs

This has got to be the worst place that I have ever stayed! We paid more than the average b&b for Blackpool but made the mistake of not checking the reviews before we booked. There was no one else staying there that weekend just us, surprise,surprise!,but we still couldn't check in till after 3??? There were kids and family just lounged around in what you would think is there living room not a guest room. It makes you feel really uncomfortable. The bedroom itself seemed clean but the view out the rear window seemed like we were overlooking the local junk yard. The communal areas were not clean at all though and there was a really strange odour to the place. Breakfast is served in a basement but couldn't bring myself to eat anything. It just seemed really creepy and the kitchen leaved a lot to be desired. The man who run the place spent most of his time apologising to us because he knows it's not good and knows that people are paying good money to stay in a dive. Will defo not be going back anytime soon!!!
