Didn't really know what to expect as first time staying but can honeslty say the hotel was pretty good.  As with most hotels the buildings are dated but it has been kept in very good condition. It was clean and usable which for a family with kids was perfect as we are never in the room for long. The breakfast facilities were brilliant! Full English breakfast that tasted amazing and with all this covid stuff still happening this place had it under control and had a system in place to ensure everyone was safe whilst at the same providing a brilliant breakfast for all which then set us up for the day. 

The owners are loverly people and go above and beyond and clearly show they care about their guests. There was a noisy family below us having an argument which the owners dealt with in a brilliant way and could stop apologising even though it wasn't the owners fault....unfortunately there are people out there who don't consider others. 

Honestly I can say I love this little hotel on the beach front and would definitely stop again. Its a perfect location for families right on the front in between South and Central peir and a tram stop right across the road. Definitely recommend this hotel. I just want to say thank you to the owners for a brilliant few days away. 

Lyric Hotel Review 

From the minute my teenage daughters and I arrived at lyric bed & breakfast we were made to feel welcome nothing was to much trouble , lovely family run business . Room was great big enough for us had own bathroom , free parking . Will be booking again here for next year

Fantastic stay

stayed here for 4 days in july . Lovley little b&b rooms are just what we needed to sleep . the breakfast was great . The owners are brilliant. Right on the seafront between south and central piers . you cant go wrong with this b&b

Great B and B on the Sea Front
Rooms were clean and beds very comfortable
Breakfasts were well cooked and Jackie's fried bread was to die for
Tramstop right outside Hotel cheap a a 24 hr pass a only £5.50
Jackie and Tony were absolutely fantastic and cannot do enough for yiu.. As for other people putting remarks on here I cannot see where the problems were.. Must be keyboard fanatics who just like to moan and want for nothing
This hotel is in a great location and cheap considering its on the sea front.. Parking is free in front of your hotel but you cannot park until 12pm on day of arrival and must be off at 10:30am on departure day.. Which is quite reasonable.. Considering parking on the sea front is only a pound an hour if you want to stay a little longer on your departure day
Cannot wait to return and book this hotel soon
So Tony and Jackie keep up the good work( but Tony.. Sorry u won't get any points of us Boro this season)

Great Bed and Breakfast

Lovely hotel in a prime location on Blackpool promenade, breakfast was delicious and had everything needed to start the day, the food was cooked fresh for every guest with a choice the owners cannot do enough for guests

Great host hotel very nice nice dining room sat near window had great view our room was first floor very good shower/toilet nice very hot water TV kettle in room breakfast was great very good choice tea/coffee and toast  very good position not far to pleasure Beach town as well only had to walk across crossing outside hotel to beach parking on site great will be back was good having set time for breakfast with social distance

We stayed at the Lyric hotel.
We arrived friday 18th september 2020 at approximately 1730 hours.

We were greeted by the owner who was very friendly and professional. He showed us to our room which was a family room which had a double and 2 single beds inside with toilet and shower.

The room was lovely and bright with clean bedding and towels and a nice shower that was powerful enough to enjoy a shower in and a nice large tv on wall.
The kettle and cups provided were clean with plenty of supplies of tea and coffee with sugars and milk.
The hotel also has complimentary wifi which was an added bonus.

We had breakfast there 2 mornings and you could honestly not find anything wrong with it as the food was lovely and the fried bread was perfect. The owner was very happy and chatty in morning and couldn't do enough to help us with our 7 year old fussy requests at breakfast.
The Lyric hotel is based perfectly in blackpool in the middle of the golden mile which is quiet enough for a peaceful stay but close enough to all attractions.

All in all i would recommend the Lyric hotel to friends and family who are looking for a friendly family run property to stay which is excellent value for money.   


Excellent Hotel Great weekend.

Had a lovely three days at this hotel, the hosts, Tony and Jackie, were very friendly and very accommodating.  Hotel was lovely, clean and in a great location. There was a good choice on the breakfast menu and couldn’t fault anything. Will definitely be back.

Brilliant hotel in a great location

Had a brilliant stay,excellent hosts. This is a lovely place to stay hosts are very welcoming, friendly and a child friendly place. Had our bags taken to our room, room was nice with a sea view. location is excellent for beach or tram ride to tower or pleasure beach as tram stop is opposite if you don't fancy a stroll. 

Breakfast was lovely and reasonably priced,especially the scrambled egg  and all worked out so you can socially distance, great set up. one of the reasons we booked as not everywhere are doing breakfasts.
 
Had a lovely break there with my family, good value for money and will definitely be returning.

Great place, brilliant hosts, great location

We have stayed at the Lyric Hotel 2-3 times a year over the last 7 years  as have our children and their families. Tony and Jackie are great hosts and the rooms have always been to a good standard. Breakfasts are superb and the location is perfect especially as the tram stop is just outside the hotel making it easy to go to the pleasure beach or tower if you don't fancy a stroll. 
Looking forward to going back again in October
