Just home from another lovely stay at The Royal with Clare and Michael and the team.  Always feels like home there. So welcoming and relaxing. We get very well looked after.  No place we would rather be when we stay in Blackpool.  Thanks again for an lovely weekend 😊😊

Weekend stay in Blackpool

The Royal is a cheap guesthouse in Blackpool and as long as your expectations are in line with what you pay, you’ll find this place spot on.

A total of 32 of us stayed here in May with our under 11s football team as we were playing in the Lytham tournament via IM Sports.

Clare was lovely and very accommodating, our room was nice and the breakfast in the morning was top notch. Location wise you are about a 10 minute walk away from the pleasure beach, 15/20 minutes from the sandcastle, and a good walk away from the tower.

I’ve spoken to all parents and kids and they enjoyed the trip and the stay at the Royal.

Second time at the Royal hotel  Claire and all the other are friendly and always happy  they work so heard  the the rooms are clean  and really nice i will be back next year  come to the Royal hotel  if you come Blackpool

We love this hotel and have been here many times. The couple who run it are warm and friendly and they have lovely rooms and an excellent breakfast it is situated in a quiet part of Blackpool but is close to all the amenties. A short walk to the seafront and tramway to access all of Blackpool easily

A Great. And Very Clean Hotel in Blackpool

We found the Royal on the Internet as we had decided to move on from our 3 night accommodation in Blackpool after just one night as the room was too small . We booked 2 nights at the Royal as the Rooms were much bigger and we liked the look of the Property . 
We arrived around 2:30 pm and were greeted at the Door by Claire  with a big welcoming Smile . She asked us if we would like to see the Room and we were soon standing out side a room on the 2nd Floor . When she opened the Door we were extremely Happy . The Room was very spacious and it had a "Four Poster Bed"  . Also a Balcony . 
Claire is a Wonderful Host and we were soon chatting away as if we had known each other for Years . 
We soon brought our Luggage up to the Room , with help from John , the Barman . 
We soon settled in and came down to the Bar for a Drink . There we met Michael , Claire's Husband and also John's Wife . The next 2 to 3 Hours were fantastic Chatting away . We were joined by 2 Ladies who were also staying in the Hotel as regular Guests . 
Although the Hotel doesn't do Evening Meals were told we could Order from a Local Chinese Takeaway who would deliver , and we could eat in the Bar and they would provide Plates and Cutlery . Which is what we did.
We did not go out that evening as the Weather was not good.
The next Morning we had Tickets to the Pleasure Beach and we also wanted to enjoy the sites of Blackpool .
We arrived back at the Hotel around 3pm and were soon into the Bar and we were soon joined by Michael & Claire and the 2 Ladies also arrived Later with Johns Wife . We had a wonderful Evening .
The next Morning we decided to have Breakfast before leaving . Clair took our order , Full English . It was great . Hot & Fresh and plenty of it .
All good things come to an End and we were sad to leave . 
Our Room was very Spacious and perfectly Clean . The Four Poster Bed was large and very Comfortable . We slept well . Could not Fault it . We wished we had booked this Hotel in the first place .
We had met some Wonderful People who had made our stay one to remember .

Can’t fault it been there numerous occasions and will be returning again in the near future ,always make you feel welcome can’t do enough for you , great for families and couples alike

Brill short break

stayed at The Royal Hotel twice,once being New Years Eve, had a fantastic time, as we live in Manchester we were looking for somewhere not too long a drive to go for regular weekends away with our dogs, we have found our weekend getaway. 

We will be returning soon with NASA and Yoda as they are always made a fuss of.

Absolutely spotless

Stayed here for 3 nights over the new year, Clare, Michael and John are a great team and work very well together. They will do anything to make your stay more comfortable.  Our room was very nice and the food was lovely (especially the roasted meats, yummy). We will definitely be returning!

LOVELY HOTEL

Clare Michael and John are amazing hosts and make you feel so welcome and they are very accommodating to your needs...rooms are very clean and comfortable and the hotel has a bar and pool room and are reasonable prices...the breakfast is very nice and the hosts will adhere to your every need......we have been going ere for years now and won't go anywhere else...ALL ROUND WONDERFUL HOSTS AND LOVELY B nB.....plenty of parking space 

WARM COMFORTABLE ENJOYABLE 

Just home after having a wonderful stay for the new year. Michael and clare and the team were fantastic.  Went out of their way to see we had a good time.  Stayed in room 22 which was very big and clean and comfortable.  It was a real home from home and we can't wait till we visit them again.
