On arrival I said "hello" to the receptionist (Francis), she said nothing or even look at me for that matter, she was uninterested and dismissive. I asked when was the latest I could go down for breakfast, before cutting me off mid sentence to tell me the checkout time she said breakfast could be as late as  10.45am, I checked the website next morning before heading down and the latest time you can arrive is 10.30. If I had taken her at her word I would have missed out on the food I had paid for.

In my hotel room some of the main lighting didn't work, neither did the heating. No matter what temperature I set the thermostat to it only blew cold air, a fact I didn't realise till I woke in the morning and got out of bed to a cold room.However it did warm up between 9am and 11am... Curious.

I did make it to breakfast in time, however it wasn't clear where to go on arrival as the door I entered in the adjacent pub/restaurant, The Red Lion (the closest one to the hotel reception) didn't have any signage at all, or visible staff. I wondered around until found where I was supposed to go. The staff seemed nice and the food (although luke warm) tasted ok. The only disappointing thing was all the bread for making your own toast was stale at the top, this may be me being picky though as it didn't seem to bother about half the people I could see making toast while I ate my meal.

Overall not a great service but the bathroom looked new and clean and the bed was clean and comfy.

Not great TBH

Arrived, reception very friendly and helpful. Room was just right, clean, just what you’d expect. Had breakfast and dinner in Beefeater attached to hotel, service great, must book table as gets very busy especially at weekends.  All in all suited our requirements for a couple of nights.

Great stay

I have been staying as a guest here because of a water leak at my house. All the staff, and in particular  Helen and Emily have gone out of their way to make me feel comfortable in every aspect.  Nothing is too much trouble for them and their professionalism and caring attitudes have made a bad situation a lot easier for me.

Been staying at the hotel since July and it's almost become my second home . excellent service from the staff especially Helen built up a great relationship with all the staff including the excellent service from the beefeater next door .would highly recommend clean comfy beds can't wait to come back at end of Jan

Excellent service

I like to say my stay has been welcoming , comfortable, rooms are clean , the staff are always friendly with a smile , and to help with any issues you might have , Helen been great too , making sure are rooms are to our requirements , Emily too when we need  our parking issues sorting out , when you forget to register your number plate in , overall a reliable ,  comfortable and relaxing stay .

The Best Stay, ( for me in long while )

Stayed for 3 nights, room was clean, staff were brilliant at both Premier and Red Lion (Beafeater) next door, the food was great with a good choice, just explored the area on public transport which was clean, regular, on time and stops just a few steps from the hotel, would recommend and definitely stay here again.

Enjoyable

 The Hotel was Noisy our room overlooked a yard and there was a motor running all night there was no let-up the room above us it was like grand central station their noise continued till 02.30am The heating stat was continuously clicking with the heater turned off, The room wasn't that clean there was food crumbs on a side table and floor the bath had hairs in it I am blonde hubbys bald and lad is mouse these were black hairs from a previous guest and a rusty towel rail we left some cleaning wipes in the room it might help them, we had 3 guests in the room but it was accommodating just 2 only 2 mugs and drinks for 2 persons we nipped to shop and got some latte sashes we brought a pillow and mugs from home for our grandson the hair dryer, shower, was good The bed in my opinion was uncomfortable so with the noise and bed I had no sleep at all I managed some power napps in the car to get me through the day, we didn't use the onsite restaurant we went out for food Toby Carvery a short drive away, I can't see us using a Premier Inn ever again all I wanted was a clean room and a good nights sleep witch neither was on the menu

Worst night ever

We ended up staying at this hotel because our preferred choice of Premier Inn  in the centre of Blackpool was full. Although it's slightly further out it is really easy to get to even if you don't have a car. The number 7 bus from Blackpool town centre to Cleveleys stops right outside. The room was comfortable, clean and on the ground floor, which was ideal for my elderly Mum as she had requested a ground floor room on booking but wasn't given one at check in, Thankfully one was available, so if you require a ground floor room contact the hotel directly after booking to arrange this (the phone number will come up after the booking confirmation) . There's extra tea, coffee, milk and sugar available from a little table  in reception if there isn't enough in your room and the bathroom had large bottles of hand wash and shower gel ready to use. The only real issue I have is with the restaurant/pub which the hotel is alongside. It's a Beefeater, which I often find to be quite expensive for what you get, and I was right. The price of the meal me and my Mum had was over £30, and we only had a main course and one drink each. There were a few people in the restaurant, but it wasn't super busy, but we still were waiting longer than we thought for our food (this was at about half past 5 on a Sunday afternoon), Also we were not informed by hotel reception when we checked in that tables in the restaurant had to be booked (this might help in planning ahead for future bookings)  and we ended up having to eat in the bar area when we arrived on the Friday evening after having a nightmare journey getting there thanks to Storm Otto. The food I would say was OK, but I don't think it was value for money in comparison to other places I've eaten in, and there isn't really much choice apart from burgers or steak, but I guess that's what Beefeater do. We had a better meal in the Coral Island amusement arcade! (their sharing platter was huge and you got much more than the similar dish at the Beefeater). All in all the hotel itself was fine, but is a bit let down by the restaurant in my opinion. We didn't have breakfast, so I can't comment on that, but in future if my preferred hotel in Blackpool centre is fully booked and I have to choose an alternative I think I'd be tempted to use the other Premier Inn at Blackpool Airport as that has a Hungry Horse next door, which has a much more varied and value for money menu (this hotel can also bea reached by the number 7 bus towards St Annes)

Never been let down by Premier Inn

Positives: Greeted fabulously by gent at reception who booked our breakfast and upgraded our booking to add evening meal which was great value for money. 
I love Premier inn accessible rooms as a person with mobility needs and this room didn't disappoint. Fresh, clean, warm and dark, comfortable, just what we needed. 
We didn't go into Blackpool but could have done so easily bh public transport if that was an option for us, unfortunately it's not but only due to my mobility.
Negatives: may seem picky to some but here I go; only one set of towels in room booked for two. 
Unable to get answer at reception using the number on the website for the hotel and tried a few times.
Bathroom bin in completely wrong place for most people with accessible needs. 
Armchairs in reception in dire need of deep cleaning.
We will return here as it's the closest Premier Inn to where we like to visit for peace and quiet and friendly staff always.

Great hotel, nice and quiet out the centre, wonderful breakfast, free parking and short walk to the tram to get into the centre of Blackpool.
Staff very friendly at check in and in the beefeater next door!!
